I love the Ron Jon cam because it can stay on the Wonder for so long!

No I was here - just forgot to get on and post!!!!

Yea - FOUR WEEKS!!!!!

Did everyone have a nice fruity drink in their hand? :thumbsup2

No fruity drink here, but I did have a beer in hand and was eating homemade bruschetta. Does that count? :thumbsup2

Well, that was a great
Sailaway Party!

I can't seem to get the Ron Jon camera to work. I don't know why but it just doesn't seem to load.

I think you need to have Java loaded in your computer to see that one. We can't seem to get the Port Canaveral cam - every time we try to load it, it crashes our internet connection!

You sure can. Dh just loves it.

It calls for a baguette, but I use a vienna bread that we can get at the store and it works just great.

1 Baguette, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
6 Fresh Plum Tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced as finley as possible
3 green onions sliced, (I just use purple onion that I have on hand chopped real small)
2 teaspoons Dried Basil or 2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil
3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Plus more to brush on bread
Generous amount of freshly ground pepper and Salt

Preheat oven to 450. Brush both sides of bread with olive oil. Toast bread until bottoms are light brown. Turn over and continue toasting. Remove from oven when done and cool.

While bread is toasting, cut up the tomatoes into a fine dice. Remove the gloppy inside from them and discard. Put tomatoes in a bowl with onions, garlic, salt, basil and pepper. Stir to combine. Drizzle with the olive oil. Allow to sit for about an hour before serving.

Yummo!

A little late to the party but I was watching the Wonder leave on the Ron Jon camera. That will be us in 4 weeks! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

In four weeks that will be us!!!!! Yay! :yay:

No frruity drink coffee.

Chris - no this one was from 2008 (I can tell by the card in the lanyard)

Flo - the shirts are what the DIS group did for the 2006 cruise. The back had the logo I have on the website now with the Wonder in the background and the sand sculpture in front.

The lanyard is a gift from DVC that everyone gets at check-in. You can also see the DIS buttons that Mark makes as we wear ours on our lanyards (so we always have them and don't put holes in our clothes). :)

Mary, good idea for the buttons. Oh I am excited to get one.

I can't seem to get the Ron Jon camera to work. I don't know why but it just doesn't seem to load.

Chris - Try this one. It is the same view but a different camara. Page down to see the camara.

I caught the boat on the Two Palms cam, my you were all chating a lot. I almost forgot. I was in the process of making stuffed peppers.

I'ts raining a lot here and the STL and SD game is delayed.I woinder how long they will wait before they call or will they get to finish?:confused3

That ship is the Freedom of the Seas.

I thought it was something of the Seas. Can never remember the names :). Thanks for letting us know.

Hope you don't mind, but I printed it also, sounds really good.

Good. I'm glad I could share. I hope you like it as much as we do. It is a great Sunday afternoon snack. Especially when I use fresh stuff from the garden! Brooke also likes to sprinkle hers with parmesan cheese.

I made stuffed peppers and put in the freezer this morning. Fourteen of them so far. I still have a lot of peppers in the garden too! I also froze some sweet corn.

To bad about all the rain. I'm really bummed because they said it was to be stormy here all day so we didn't go to the State Fair, and guess what, it hasn't rained since 7:00 this morning! :confused3 Go figure. Oh, well, we got lots done around here instead. So, not a bad weekend at all. :flower3:

Joanne where are you????????

I was just thinkning the same thing.

Now on to the beach cam to finish watching it sail out to sea.

Joanne you still have time for the above.

Joanne, you were my date today. :guilty:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I can't believe I missed it again. Brain dead? Oh, yes, guilty as charged!

Actually I got waylaid by a daughter in need, but I'm sooooo sorry I missed it! And I was looking forward to talking w/everyone as we watched the ship leave.

Congrats Chris on the :bride:

Also, thanks for the congrats everyone on the pirate:

Congrats to Chris on the :bride:, and as for Flo, she is the pirate queen, hoorah for the pirate queen (if you've ever seen Pirates of Penzance, you'll know the reference).

Joanne we missed you!:sad2: If I did not set my timer I would have missed it. The timer went off and my DS goes what is it for. I told him to wath the Wonder.

Same time next week?

take care
flo
:surfweb:
