Chilly day here. We are to only be in the mid 70's. Brrrrrrrr. I know, not that cold but to me it is. We had to shut the windows up here in the house this morning cuz it is chilly. We even have sweats on. It is not to be like this!

That really is unseasonable, wow. We feel like we've been living in a sauna. It's been typical DC area weather: air you can wear . So the 70s sound wonderful to me.

Joanne, are DCL transportation will leave from BCV.

We're leaving from there, too, so we'll probably be on the same bus.

And I agree w/Mary; I've never needed a sweater on the ship BUT, there are many people (usually women) who do. If you are someone who is sensitive to the cold, you should probably bring a light sweater.

As I sit here looking at the 2007 pictures I am just getting antsy about our trip. Thinking ahhhhhhhh, can't wait till I am on that ship.

Excellent question! I was wondering the same thing myself. I guess is that Sandi & I will get there about noon.

We plan on getting to the port around 11 am

We plan on getting to the port fairly early. I like to watch everyone come in, see the entertainment, and mix with fellow DISers who are there. Plus while we were able to get Palo brunch it wouldn't let me book 2 extra for our friends so we'll be heading for Palo reservations to see if we can add them.

Sorry for leaving off last night Sue. I got up from the computer to go to the bathroom and realized that the State Fair show was on TV. I love to watch the highlights from our State Fair so I crawled in to bed to watch and I was done. Glad your drive was safe and you have Dustin back home.

As for my answer about getting to the port, I told DH this time we are not going to be the first ones at the port. Which we have been twice before. I am hoping to get there around noon. We are staying at a gorgeous hotel in Melbourne and I want to go down and enjoy the beach in the morning and I also want to stop at Ron Jon's on the way up. Ron Jon's is like a tradition for us. Always stop and look around. There is also a Wal-Mart right there on A1A so if we need to stop and get anything we can.

Yup - missed you last night, but it was nice I had a chance to chat with Dianne. The weather was terrible but we got back home and crashed into bed. Glad you got to see the show you liked.

Never been to Ron Jon's but have heard it's a neat shop! Enjoy.

Thanks again for chatting late last night - it was fun! Drove through a nasty storm but made it back fine. Dustin had a great time!

Well, it turned out to be a pretty nice day today after all. We worked this morning, then played around this afternoon. We couldn't use the pool because the water temperature was way too cool. We turned the heater on but it didn't heat it up enough for us. Maybe tomorrow. But I did sit in the sun for a while to soak up the heat.

Then tonight we went up to a camp ground that is about 5 minutes from our house because i had some friends up there. Sat around the fire for a while and then came home. Started getting pretty cool again. But we had a nice time.
