Member Gallery Update!

Sorry to have this delayed so long. Some of these e-mails came in March.

The gallery has now been updated to include three new groups:

Hello Everyone Happy Belated Birthdays and Anniversaries to all those who celebrated them. And, welcome to those who have joined us on this thread. I look forward to getting to know you.

I haven't been on the Dis since April 18. I couldn't believe it had been that long. I had a lot of catching up to do. I knew I had a lot of reading to do so I waited until I had time to catch up on what has been happening.

We had a small get together for my DS's bday on April 19 and then I got sick on April 20 and have been sick ever since. But, I am doing much better now. I only have the ocassional cough. I had not been sick like that ever. I gues my body was telling me that I needed some rest even though I couldn't get much rest until last week. Work has been keeping me busy. Plus, the last two weekends we have been going out of town. The last weekend in April we went to South Jersey to visit my parents and for a baby shower. If I was not helping with the baby shower I would have stayed home. Then, last weekend we went to Durham, NC for DH's high school reunion. It was fun meeting some of my DH's friends from high school. The reunion was at the Durham Bulls Stadium. DS loved watching the baseball game.

I also have become "addicted" to Facebook ... to be more precise Mafia Wars on FB. So, if any of you are on FB and play Mafia Wars please join my mafia.

What made you book this Member Cruise?

We were so excited about becoming members in 2008 we wanted to meet other DVC members and be apart of the special events that DVC had for its members. Plus, DH & I had been talking about taking a cruise since our first and only cruise was in 2002 on the Disney Wonder. We thought the members' cruise would be the perfect opportunity to curise with Disney again.

So question, What if you were only allowed to bring one thing for the cruise, what would it be?

That is a hard question. I cannot think of just one thing. Maybe my credit card so I can buy everything I need while on the boat. But, the people I would have to bring would be my DH & DS. It would not be a good cruise without them.

What one thing do you want to do while on CC?

If you can believe this, we have never been to the observation tower! I want to try and hit that this time.

I do not remember hearing anything the observation tower so my curiousity is piqued. But, I really want to just sit on the beach, put my feet in the water, and watch DS play in sand and water.

We have a lot of birthdays in April (among them are my 3 daughters on the 16th and 18th, so at least if I ever get a mother's ring, it'll be all diamonds ). We call it Christmas in April.

Ohh, DS shares a birthday with one of your DDs. I will remember that.
I never thought of a mother's ring. I have to tell DH that is one more reason I want a diamond ring.

Breezy and around 67 degrees here today. But it is to be sunny.

Need to go shopping today to return a swimsuit for DD2 and then we need to get her some stuff for softball. I also need to find some shorts for our upcoming vacation.

back from the shower it was nice. went to lowes and bought some topsoil and hanging plant. got home right before the rain started. it has let up and it is cooler out which is nice. talk to everyone later.

We just came back from a week at Kidani and it was WONDERFUL!!! We stayed in a one bedroom standard view...first to break in the room. The resort is beautiful and the pool is fabulous! Weather was great...no rain, in the 90's and 60-70 at night. The one bedroom had two full bathrooms. The decor is so beautiful. DVC really out did themselves on this one, IMHO.

Next trip DVC member cruise!!!

Hi everyone! I feel so out of touch because I didn't post last night. The DIS just wasn't cooperating last night, so I finally gave up.

I did buy my airline tickets for my December trip last night. I was able to book Jet Blue for about $100 each way.

This afternoon I went to see the new Star Trek movie at an IMAX theater and it was awesome! I really enjoyed it.
