Great pics and good commentary! You were on the same excursion/same day as the other trip report I was reading. It really looks beautiful. Think I will give my new knees a year to heal before I try this one, but I really want to see it before my balance and mobility go altogether! Getting old is poopy. It seems like you wake up one day and you notice that there is something slightly different...and with each passing month, you lose a little something else. It really is true, and aging just sneaks up on you. So, enjoy your youth!

Thanks for the link. Do you have any others? Your photography is wonderful. What kind of camera were you using?

Susan

Good Morning all!

Thanks for the happy thoughts for my camp this week.:goodvibes

We start today - the kids should arrive around noon. I'll do the swim tests for them this afternoon, weather willing. It's not supposed to be a very nice day here today - high of only 70 with wind. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better.

Flo, I hope there is no more rain for you today - stay dry!
Wishing everyone a day was smiles on this the longest day of the year!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing fine. So sorry Flo about the water, are things better yet?

Sue the camp sounds wonderful.

Well, I have not been around much lately, DH still recovering from knee surgery. My uncle passed away, My cousins have been in from out of town.

And I had a reaction to my Blood pressure meds. I was swollen badly from my knees to my toes, everything else was only slightly swollen. I am much better now, only a little swollen all over.:confused3

Other than that everything is wonderful:cool1:

Dianne,

Sorry to hear about your uncle!

How is DH doing?

That had to be horrible being that swollen. Is he keeping you on the meds or is he going to change again. I hate when they do it because you never know your reaction.

Yes, the water went down and things are better. Thanks.

take care

Yep, can't wait for that!

Man, oh man, it can't get here soon enough!

So if this is Sunday, it's a Sail Away Day - and the drink of the day should be a Bahama Mama, right!! Yippee!:rotfl:

Oh darn - reality strikes - it's raining again.

ttfn,
Sue

Here is the link for the overall trip report

I used the first post as kind of a Table of Contents, and am adding pictures as I have time. I have posted about 20% of my pictures, so far - you might want to subscribe so you know when something new has been added.

Aging does take you by surprise. I am not what I would consider "young" - but age is relative. So far, my only residual limitations have been arthritis setting into my thumb and toe joints, the result of karate injuries in my 30's and 40's.

Camera = Canon EOS, 2006 (they come out with a new one every one).

I also have many picture report from prior years, such as
California Grill
Victoria & Albert's - Part 1
Victoria & Albert's - Part 2
Member Cruise 2008 (another table of contents format)

I had many others, but when sonyimagestation went out of business, I didn't have time to relinked them all to the new web hosting site. Maybe someday! That is where most of my theme park and resort pictures are, as I don't keep taking the same ones over and over,

Also, everyone has two in the room except were I have it listed.
If you need the information on what the Fish Extender is all about or would like to know who to notify if you would like to par take, please see the first post on the first page of this thread.

The ones that have ** in front of them have one adult in the room. The ones that have *** have 3 adults in the room.

There doesn't seem to be alot of men that post here, but to those that are looking, I hope all the fathers have a great day today and get to do everything they want to do or do nothing at all (sorta sounds good).

Ellen, thanks for the links. Beautiful, beautiful photos. I have a Canon S3 IS
and I would love to get an EOS...don't know if I would be smart enough to use it. I never use anything on my camera except auto !! I do get great pictures with that camera, though. The only thing it does not do well is night photos, and also it won't do the Spectromagic Parade. I had a Sony that took all of those night pictures really well, but not as good as the Canon for daytime. Oh, well, once I finish paying off my knees, maybe that will be my next investment, unless something else wears out...LOL.

Those photos of the Palo Brunch make me so glad that I am going! On the last 2 cruises, we didn't go, just went to dinner, which we loved also. But the brunch looks even better yet.

Does anyone else think that the pancakes on the ship are horrid???? I love pancakes and they taste like grit. Even frozen ones would be better than those. Wonder if they are any better at Palo's. But with all of the other things, who needs pancakes, right?

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Susan

Going to City Island in Harrisburg for a picnic..hoping the rain holds off.

Sank in the mud last night at our church festival just to get a grilled sausage sandwich with peppers and onions...UMMMM it was so good.

Anyone following Pete Werner's trip to DL? He has some great photos on Facebook of the apartment above the Firehouse!

Or maybe I still don't get how this works...I am slow on the uptake

Ok, if I don't get one, I will give you a break from having to see my same signature!

And I also was never hit by the tag fairy...rats.
