The booklet is cute - I have gotten one like it before. But yes, I was surprised at only one tag. So in the morning, I'm going to call MS and see if we can get one more each.

We are signed up for it. We went the last time they had this. It give me my Disney fix and we are only about 10 min away.

We are getting in on the 10th of September. We have already purchased tickets for the Not so scary Halloween party (which happens to be my FAVORITE thing to do in disney). Thursday when we get in I figure we'll just go to downtown and eat there, hang by the pool Friday during the day and go to the party that night- but Saturday is the day in question. I was thinking Magic Kingdom- but it is soooo expensive if my two year old doesn't cooperate. Then we spent all of that money (that could be used on our cruise for other fun stuff) and me or my hubby will have to go back to the hotel with him. (Well, realistically it would be him- I'm gonna see the mouse!) Any ideas for back up plans? My husband is ex-military- out for a couple of years now- do they still give military discounts? We only would need them for the day..... I REALLY hope my 2 yr old loves the Halloween thing, and wants to go again the next day- that would be ideal. I guess I'll have to play it by ear?!

DCL has cut back to one luggage tag per person, because of the airline luggage restrictions.

I know those of us who drive can take as many as we want to, but the luggage services at the port will give you more, or you can go to the DCL hospitality desks at Saratoga Springs, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach Club, Caribbean Beach Resort, Riverside or French Quarter.

It doesn't matter how many you need after the cruise, because there are lots of them down by the Guest Services desk on deck 3.

When I was in a wheelchair last October, DH called to find out how to get me to the correct zone. DH called to asked what to do. The person on the other end so i could stay in the room. You can't rely on anyone coming to get me. I guess I'm going dow with the ship!!

I kept kidding DH saying I'll never let you go! I'll never let let you go!

OH! I hope we get them in the mail soon too!

Were you in a handicapped accessible room? Everytime we have sailed, we go to the Animator's Palett for the evacuation drill. You are allowed to use the elevators if you are disabled.

Were are you staying when you come in? We are flying out of O'Hare on Friday mied afternoon and Staying at the Boardwalk for 2 nights. I have always wanted to stay there and DVC makes that possible.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

A great inexpensive souvenir of your trip is a postcard from Castaway Cay. It will even be stamped with a CC postmark. Two things to remember.

1) Bring cash with you onto the island. Unlike everything else on board you can't use your KTTW card to purchase postage here. Bring small bills if possible.

2) Be patient once you get home. The mail moves on "island time" mon so it may take a while to get to you.

Dave, congrats on your 3! new babies. I'm so glad they found the lost kitten. It's great that you went to a shelter for the cats; there are sooooo many unwanted pets out there (we got our pound puppy from a local shelter). Have they got names yet?

Thanks Joanne! The girls named them, Abby, Magee, and Dinosso (sp) from NCIS, their favorite show. We have gotten all our pets from the shelters, they do such a great job with the pets.

Wow thats great....can't wait for mine.
Dave, congrats on the kittens...I am sure they will add a lot of fun for the family.

Dave - have fun with the kittens. They are cute when they are small. We have three cats ourselves, Sassy, Emm and Scuttlebut. They are indoor/outdoor cats. The girls like them and they are big old babies.

Thanks Chris! We have had cats all along until our last one got sick three years ago. Ours will be indoor only, as we have alot of traffic and coyotes, no need to tempt them.

Mary - I agree with the "island time" thing. Last time I mailed one from Castaway Cay it was exactly a month to the day from when I sent it that we received it. It is fun to get it in the mail though.

Dang airlines for charging for extra bags! It really limits my packing. But I can do it, hopefully. Last time we flew my bag was at 49 lbs. And 50 lbs was the limit for weight or you would be charged a fee. So I cut it pretty close.

One thing we did was get the large rolling duffel bags rather than regular suitcases. I weighed our largest suitcase and it came in at around 20 lbs! The duffel (which we used for our Feb trip home) weighs around 5, and so far has worked well for us. It holds a lot!
