Regarding the sail away party.....

we were thinking about getting a bottle of champagne delivered to the stateroom for sail away, but don't want to miss all the festivities on deck.

Don't know if you get plastic flutes, or glass....? Could we bring it up on deck with us?

Any ideas?

What a dilemma!!!!!

You could get the bottle of champagne delivered to your room and you could bring it up on deck in plastic flutes. I'm sure if you ask them for plastic flutes they'll deliver them with the champagne.

I am so beyond excited! only a few more days and it's off to paradise!

my FE stuff is all done - well mostly haha, i have started thinking about the clothes we are going to bring - we wont pack until the day before we leave, and the house is almost all clean - so let's go already!!

I am SO jealous! My house is a disaster and I"m not close to being packed. Thank God we have a three day weekend so I'll have an extra day to get stuff done.

For those that are staying there in case you did not know if you have a MK view one of the tv channels plays the firework music so you can look out the window or deck and watch and listen.

No ones here. Waiting around at school for back to school night. Have to put on my happy face and meet all the parents whose kids I want to strangle. I get to meet the nice kids parents to so that will be good. Of course I would rather be home watching the Buckeyes opener.

I hope my kids' teachers group my kids in the second group you talk about!!!! LOL

I just checked in to AKV-CL This is our first CL stay ever/anywhere. We are driving up on Friday the 10th.

I can't imagine anyone who doesn't wear a costume is going to stick out like a sore thumb. One of my favorite things about "Disney people" is that they don't seem to judge anyone else and simply feel a sense of camraderie with anyone else who is a "Disney person" I'm on the other end of the spectrum with my costume. Some might find it over the top I showed it to one of my "doesn't get Disney" friends and she just looked at me like I had three heads That was when I knew I made the right choice in choosing a custom costume I don't care, I'm probably going to need an instruction manual just to put the blasted thing on and I am sure walking in 4 inch pirate boot heels should provide entertainment value

We don't have pirate costumes. But we have pirate themed bandanas with Goofy ears with a big hoop earring on one ear.

Just saying we do not dress up for pirate night. Our girls do, but it is not something me and DH get into. But we enjoy pirate night and like to see how others are dressed. And for all the cruises we have been on I would say more people do not dress up than do. But that is just my observation.

I think they should have extra special drinks that night, make them all free, that should be the drink special...

My sisters swear that when they feel a cold coming on if they take Airborne the cold goes away. I've never tried it, but maybe it does work? OR just go with your daily doses of screwdrivers! I hope whatever you do works so you're not on the cruise.

I was going to mail some of my fish extenders to save some luggage space, but I went to the post office today and it was going to be $25 to send it priority or $12 to send it first class mail and it would take and estimated six business days. Soooooo looks like I have to make extra room in the luggage! I refuse to pay $25 to ship something!! And I can't take the chance of it not getting there within 6 business days. Friday is six business days and that's the deadline. OH well, that's what I get for procrastinating! (I've had the box sitting in my room for a little over a week now.
