HEY IAN, ARE YOU IN THIS PICTURE? This is from the Dec 4-7, 2008 Cruise.

If you look directly up from where the CM's left hand is stretched out to, there is a man standing in a red hat...he is the first person in front of the white section of the stack on the right hand side of the picture....I'm wondering if that's you, Ian?

HI DEBBIE, I THINK I FOUND USBoth Laura and I looked at It and i zoomed in after I downloaded it. My son is standing to the right a bit with Red hat and sunglasses and hand on chin. Our friend Pam is in front just to the left of him looking over her shoulder. Laura is back behind Pam and im to the left of Laura in the photo. Laura and I are standing just a bit back from rail.

Well, I don't plan on falling into dessert displays or inadvertently walking randomly scattered planks I'm getting better at walking in them. Wally is convinced I will simply wind up propping myself up on him and using him as a crutch

Sorry but what's pm? We are going to OKW after the cruise so it would be real great to get it postmarked from Orlando. I don't think Mickey lives on Long Island especially now with Hurricane Earl due to pay us a visit tomorrow.

A "PM" is a private message. Up towards the top right hand corner of your screen, where it says "Welcome, beaadude", if you have a private message it says "Your Notifications: 1" (or 2, or however many private messages you have) I know all of the abbreviations on here can get confusing...I still have a hard time with some of them from time to time!

Here are some more tips:

MEDICAL SUPPLIES
1. "Keep cool" or "migraine ice" adhesive strips-slap one on the back of your neck and lower your body temp immediately.

2. Ask your pharmacist for the smallest bottles available with your prescription labels on them (can pack just enough for the trip and don't have to schlep around the larger bottles/worry about having prescription meds without the prescription verification).

3. Vinegar can be applied to jelly fish stings. Vinegar is available from room service!! Vinegar can also be used for sunburns. Soak a wash cloth in it and apply to the burn.

4. Bring Sea-Bands for motion sickness. Ginger Root is also great for motion sickness. You can go to herbsforkids on the net to get it in liquid form for the kiddies.

MONEY
1. Bring SMALL bills for porters, Castaway Cay postage, Room Service tips, etc.

2. If you are driving to Port Canaveral from WDW don’t forget change for the tolls. If you are driving to Port Canaveral from WDW don’t forget change for the tolls. Depending on the route you take, you will need between $2.50 to $3.50 depending on the route you take.


5. Papaya Enzyme chewable tablets, helps digest food in case you eat something that doesn't agree with you.

6. Correctol, gentle laxative, for men or women. Nothing worse than have that bloated feeling while on a cruise.

7. If the ship stores are closed and you need a toiletry item of some kind you can ask at guest services. They have aspirin feminine products, and seasick meds.

DH took today off and is going to have a nice long weekend. Lucky guy! But I am off to work. Which is ok with me.

Thank goodness all the storms in the Atlantic seem to be diminishing. Except for Earl, but he is clear up North now and won't be bothering us.

So who can answer this question for me !!!! What is the average cost of a beer (miller/bud) and a mixed or specialty drink from the bars ???? are they priced like at WDW 6.00 for a beer ????

I think Passporter said it was like $3.25 for a domestic draft, and about $4 for imports. You can get six bottles for something like $18.75 from room service. You can also get a 22oz glass mug for $15, and you get 22oz refills for the 16oz price. PP says it takes about 10-15 beers to come out ahead....shouldn't be much of a problem....

From this message, looks like I've really done research into only THE MOST IMPORTANT things....can't remember my cabin number, but I DO KNOW how much beer is!!!!!

At least I got my priorities straight.

Same here!!!!!! - only Wisconsin, not Iowa...
Could use a long weekend to start picking out clothes, running to the store for last minute supplies....shopping for those little travel bottles of stuff really gets my into vacation mode!

We're happy some of those storms are falling apart as well....but we're not gonna stop wishing and praying!!!!

Good for the length of cruise or 50 minutes .............. Which ever comes first ......
