I second the thanks and the NEED for coffee!!! Breakfast question - I know the dinners are on the rotation thing - how do breakfast and lunch work?

For breakfast and lunch, you can eat at Beach Blanket Buffet or Triton's and/or Parrot Cay. Triton's/Parrot Cay are sit down meals where you have servers. There is also Pluto's & Goofy's Galley where they serve hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, etc. If you are on CC, they serve lunch at Cookies.

Marsha - I LOVE the tips about ordering the cheese plates....I LOVE CHEESE!! Cheese and chocolate are my weaknesses.

Chocolate and Cheese are my two favorites also! When DH and I play the "I love you more than..." game. Yes, we still play silly adolescent games like that I always tell him, I love you more than chocolate and cheese

Yes they do, including the moorning of disembarking. So, if you do not want to get up early for breakfast on disembarkation day you can go to BBB.

Based on Monika's post, here is a tip that I came across. Monika is this the right address?

Take advantage of the ability to send a box to the ship ahead of time - a great way to get FE gifts or pirate gear on board without giving up valuable luggage space. Address your package(s) to:
Disney Cruise Line Warehouse
Guest Name / Stateroom # (GTY, if you don't know what it is when you send the package)
8633 Transport Drive
Orlando, FL 32832
Phone: 407-566-8196

That is the correct address...but there is more---

Boxes Sent the Ship Ahead of Cruise - PLEASE follow these instructions carefully!!!!!! UPDATED AS OF 2/25/2009

• ONE box per stateroom, no exceptions.

• The package must have the guest full name, ship, sailing date, stateroom number or GTY if you have not been assigned a stateroom number.

• The package also must have a packing slip attached to the outside of the box that details the contents of the package. For prescriptions, a copy of the prescription is sufficient. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.

• NO FOODS/DRINKS OF ANY KIND, LIQUOR OF ANY KIND, FIREARMS, ETC.. Items that cannot be shipped to the Disney Cruise Line Warehouse and delivered to the ship include: food products (any and all food products including baby food/formula), beverages (liquor, water, etc.), chemicals, and luggage. These items will not be accepted at the warehouse and will be returned. This may cause the dogs to hit on your box and that would be a bad thing.

• The required size of the cartons you are shipping down have to be about the size of a record storage box 12 inches on a side and should not weigh more than 20 lbs. (This has been asked personally by Dave Adams who is the owner)

In the bottom left corner of the top of the package put the following information: ATTN: HOUSEKEEPING
*Name
*Sail Date
*Ship
*Stateroom Number
*Packing slip that details contents of the package (for prescriptions, a copy of the prescription is sufficient)

• Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00pm for the 7-Night Cruise on the Disney Magic (Saturday).

• Packages must arrive by Friday by 3:00pm for the 4-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder (Sunday).

• Packages must arrive by Wednesday by 3:00pm for the 3-Night Cruise on the Disney Wonder (Thursday).

If your box is hit on by the screening dog or chosen for additional screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back up and provided nothing bad is in it then it will be in your room as usual later after boarding.

These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail among other things so they may be in the staterooms later then they were before as they are low priority in the scheme of things for Disney.



Hope this helps. We did this for the last members cruise and we had no problems. We shipped the box through UPS and were able to track our package all the way to the warehouse. Our package was there when we arrived in our cabin.

I am off today so I am going to get some groceries there is no food here and I have been on a cooking strike because of the heat and the pool, etc....so I better get some nutritious food - although I am positive the girls think pizza and take out are GREAT!!!!

I'm visiting my DD,DGD,DSIL, in Georgia and it is going to break a heat record here at 100 plus. It's even too hot to go to the pool ! My DGD is starting preschool and my DD knows she's going to have a hard time with that-tears-so I came for support. Motherhood
I read we can bring our own liquor onboard-can the bottle be opened? or must it still be sealed? Thanks

Hi everyone! Yes, it's 2:15 am here and I JUST got home from the Bon Jovi concert. Can I just say that Jon Bon Jovi is awesome?! Kid Rock opened for them. He was pretty good, but it got kind of annoying that he would just break into instrumentals for a while and then cut right into a song. It was strange and didn't seem to make sense. We were in the nosebleed section of Soldier Field. I had my Canon Rebel Xsi with a 200mm zoom and I STILL couldn't get good shots of Jon and the band!! UGH! I give up!

Well, I'm off to bed...either to dream about DCL or Jon Bon Jovi!
