Wow! You all have been a chatty bunch this morning too. Congrats Terrie & Ian. I think we might be able to to make it to a second and today at the rate we are going.

I hope he's feeling much better tomorrow. Don't you hate the rule about fever free for 24 hours?! I mean, I understand if it's a "real" fever and there are other symptoms, but it's still a silly rule. I always wondered why the daycares can't have a "quarantine" room where they allow kids to stay if they've had a fever in the last 24 hours but are feeling well enough to come back to daycare.

I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. DS is doing so much better. He does not have any symptoms and his fever is gone. Oh well I am just glad I have sick leave.

just curious terrie you mentioned cpr dummies what do you teach, laura is an rn.

I teach a bit of this and a bit of that Most days I teach CPR/First Aid/AED and Blood Borne Pathogens. I also teach many OSHA compliance courses like Forklift Safety, Hazardous Communications, Fire Extinguisher and the list goes on and on.

College began with the pursuit of a law degree. When we got into ethics and torts I discovered I had a conscience who knew. That ended that major. My next love, besides arguing is science so I switched majors and decided to be an RN and got through all the academics. Once we got into clinical rotations I was coming home crying everyday because I hated working in the hospital Loved the science, not the job Perhaps I just didn't like people THAT much So, I switched majors and went into Elementary Education instead. Got my degree there and began teaching kids, which I love...the public school system, not so much. I then got into Pharmaceuitcal Sales which is like teaching doctors and that isn't so different than teaching children Pharma is a volatile business and jobs come and go like the wind. When my contract ended I went to go work with my current company as a Health & Safety Specialist.

Laura has my utmost respect, nursing is a tough job!
