09/12/10 - DVCers Take Over the Wonder (S.S. Member Cruise 2010) - Thread #1

Happy Belated Birthday Kristine! Sorry I didn't post earlier, but our computer crashed! I've been saving blank designs from the DISigns threads for about three years now and it's probably all gone! I even had some door signs already done for our cruise in September! We have one last try...my brother works in the computer field and he's going to have a co-worker try to recover some of the folders in our hard drive. So, please please please send some pixie dust our way so hopefully I can get all that work back! Thankfully, I had JUST saved all of our family pictures to CD's JUST before that happened.

I also have not seen Marley & Me because I just haven't been in the mood to watch a tear jerker. Especially when I read that MEN cry at this movie, too!

It is! I am so glad DH backed up the hard drive. We lost some stuff including an important document on which I was working. But, we did not lose what we could have lost like all of the pictures that I store on the computer.

1. Dirty Dancing, or Pure Country.

2. There are two many to count. Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Cinderella, etc.

Chris - Pure Country is one of my favs - "I Cross My Heart" was our wedding song!!!

My all time favorite is tied - The Lion King and Toy Story.

On a non-Disney note I am a comedy junkie anything with Adam Sandler - Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore. The recent ones with the Will Farrell gang - Old School, Step Brothers....

We are a movie family!!

First movie was Star Wars.

My favorite movie is tied with Caddyshack and Christmas Vacation.

Favorite Disney movie is the Toy Story series. Excited about #3 coming in the summer. My wife would probably say Mary Poppins.

The most disappointing Disney movie was eight below. Only disney movie I had to take my kids out early as they were scared to death as well as crying from the dogs dying. Disney screwed up with the promotion of that movie made it out to be a family movie when it was not for kids!

My favorite Disney movie is a tie between The Little Mermaid and Alladin.

I really do not have a favorite non-Disney movie.

My favorite Disney movies are the Little Mermaid and the Lion King. I like the soundtracks for both of them.

Has everyone heard that Disney has named the new Ko Olina resort Aulani. One more reason to go to Hawaii. I wonder if Disney will ever do a Hawaiian cruise...

Favorite movie is a tie between When Harry Met Sally and Love Actually. Why? Both are funny and deal with falling in love and I guess I am a sucker for romance

My favorite Disney movie is a tie between Cinderella and Lion King. I fell in love with the Cinderella movie as a child. Lion King was the movie DH and I went to see on our first date See there's that sucker for romance thing again

I am home from work today because we are having an ice storm here. And the kids are out of school, yet again. We are having a very nasty winter this year. Blech.

We are getting ready to go to WDW this weekend. Can and can't wait. We are leaving the kids home because of some school committments they have but we are scheduled for yet more weather this weekend.

I am home from work today because we are having an ice storm here. And the kids are out of school, yet again. We are having a very nasty winter this year. Blech.

We are getting ready to go to WDW this weekend. Can and can't wait. We are leaving the kids home because of some school committments they have but we are scheduled for yet more weather this weekend.

I hope the weather improves where you are. We too are having a very nasty and unusual winter this year. We are supposed to be getting a wintry mix starting tomorrow and into Friday.

Have fun at WDW. I am sure the kids will be fine. Hopefully, the weather will not be too bad for them and for you so that you will be able to leave.
