I went and got everything for my FEs today. I'm so excited!!!

Hi everyone!! It's been awhile since i've posted, but I was wondering when we are supposed to get our travel documents? Is it 6 weeks? I saw an envelope on my doorstep on Friday when I got home. My brain went crazy trying to figure out what it was. Then my heart skipped a beat thinking that it might be our travel documents for the cruise. I then started skipping up to the door, picked up the envelope and saw it said "don't bend- photographs". boohoo! It was a picture of my husband and DD 10 at the Cubs game. Actually, it was extremely adorable so it was a good consolation prize!

I was wondering the same thing. I thought that I had the package by now but when I loooked, I did not. Last year, it was the beginning of August when people started receiving mail from ME with their luggage tags and around the third week of August when people started receiving their cruise docs.

Chris - sorry I should have added we have an automatic chlorinator - uses the pucks and goes through the filter.

Thanks for the answer cuz I was like wow, don't they have to use something??? That would be nice to have an automatic system. DH does all of that maintenance with our pool. Me, I just wanna get in a swim.

Is it September 12th yet? I'm so ready for a vacation NOW! The more I think about the cruise, the more I want it to be Sept. 12 right now! I know...we're ALMOST there!

I usually start a countdown to our trips about 40 days out - with movies to watch and games - WE LOVE disney bingo!!! The girls get a kick out of tearing each sheet off to see what the disney to do of the day is!!! I better get working on that!!!

speaking about pools, dont totally rely on automatic clorinator. We have had our inground pool for 15 years. We buy containers of chlorine to shock pool. Levels change with rain etc.

automatic chlorinator is good but if it rains or temps go up and sun is hot the chlorine gets depleted in water. You start getting algae. Also be careful putting pucks in chlorinator. When you drop pucks in water your creating a form of chlorine gas. Can be deadly!!!!!

It is a board like regular bingo with numbers and Disney characters - you put a DVD in and it "calls" the numbers/characters - so even my 3 yr old can do it - we enjoy it!!!

Ok that sounds scary So...if we ever get a pool I will make sure the maintenace is not DIY. Yeah, that means a pool guy...now if we could find one that would dress up like Jack Sparrow...

Thanks for the advice!!! Didn't know all of that. Our chlorinator is a seperate "container" of sorts sitting by the filter. We have not had to add yet - ony had the pool 9 days - but I am checking daily esp with the heat wave we have had!!!!
