Hey Bill! It's 11:30 p.m. here and you are still logged on! I know there isn't a time difference between you and us...we're in Ohio, you in Pennsylvania. I thought the nightowl turned in at 9:00 p.m.? I usually turn in about 12:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. And then I pay for it the next day at work yawning all the time! hehe

Anybody collect the Disney pins. Last cruise we bought about a dozen. Haven't seen them since. Probably wind up buying more this cruise!

Yup... I do too. Have some great ones from the Panama Repo! I think Im past 100 now.
My 2 favorite ones are the flip-flop ones, Tink and Stitch.

Oh yeah I almost forgot... DD and DSIL got their room...from cat 7 up to a cat 5. I think their room is 7620(?)

I think tinkerbelltris has a son who's celebrating his 8th bd? I am celebrating my belated 45 birthday (my actual bd is 9/3) and my DD will be 13 on 9/30, so an early celebration for her. P A R T I E S all over the place!

No, my son is 8 though. Haha, we are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We decided to celebrate it with this vacation, doing something we've never done before for our 10 years anniversary. I can't wait!!!! This is my gift to us .I got my gift already from my Hubby, I got a new wedding ring, and I am so excited about it. Best part is I got to keep my original instead of trading up. He did really good.

Aww thank you. Congrats on your 1,100 post! Haha. I gotta get a picture of it and put it in my signature. It's beautiful. 10 years is a milestone. But 37 years!!! Thats a beautiful thing. I hope you had a wonderful anniversary as well.

No, my son is 8 though. Haha, we are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We decided to celebrate it with this vacation, doing something we've never done before for our 10 years anniversary. I can't wait!!!! This is my gift to us .I got my gift already from my Hubby, I got a new wedding ring, and I am so excited about it. Best part is I got to keep my original instead of trading up. He did really good.

That is so wonderful! Hubby comes through. Bet he's on the top of the list now! HAHAHA
I wanted an anniversary ring for our 10 year anniversary. That's all I wanted. I told DH that when we got married. When our 10 year rolled around, he bought me a diamond tennis bracelet. Okay, I wasn't disappointed, but all I wanted was the ring. For Christmas that year, he bought me a gorgeous diamond necklace. Then I got diamond earrings (two pairs!). I got all this beautiful jewelry, but all I wanted was an anniversary ring! (I know, I'm a spoiled little princess). So finally, for Christmas a couple years ago, he surprised me with the anniversary ring. Funny thing is, I'm not a big jewelry person. Pretty much wear my wedding rings and a watch. That's it. But, I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. Oh, and I still have my original wedding set as well.

Can't wait to see your new ring. I bet it is absolutely gorgeous. Congrats again.

All these awesome upgrades and everyone is getting their cabin numbers assigned; where's the documents! I refuse to start packing until we receive our documents in hand!!!

I'm sure they are on their way now that we've been getting assigned cabins. I'm hoping to start the week off right next week - documents in the mail!

I am .... started thinking about it with the formation of Hurricane Dean. I bought trip insurance yesterday just to be safe : ) I am going to be so mad if weather ruins this trip I have been planning for nearly a year!!!!

Another question... my cabin # was assigned to me when I booked back in March could I still be upgraded?

DH (DRCLAWS) and I have had our cabin # assigned and we got an upgrade, so it's possible. Of course, this is the fourth cruise where we've known our cabin # since we booked, and only the first upgrade.....

SS Oceanlover, I forget. Are you and your DW travelling alone? If so, it would be funny if we ended up at the same dinner table. DH and I have the early seating, we're from the same area, and we're (roughly) the same age.

I'm with you on that one Tinkerbeltris!!! No bad thoughts. To quote the starfish in "Finding Nemo", "find a happy place, find a happy place."

I'm excited about doing the western, but where ever we go, we'll make it fun! That's what a vacation is all about. I'm most excited to be on the ship. Relaxation, relaxation, pina colada, relaxation, body massage, relaxation....you get the drift? hehe

Besides, I'm a woman of faith and I believe the Big Guy upstairs will be watching over all of us and protecting us. Amen.

Nothing to worry about. The only cruise I ever heard DCL cancelling wsa a few years ago when the Norwalk virus was raging through the cruise ships (we were supposed to be on that one ).

Down here when one of the hurricanes are near many of the locals head to WDW! They are fairly close to the middle of the state and are built as well as any other structure... I don't think they have closed more than a few days in the 8+ years we've been here. As far as the ships are concerned, I can't imagine they would go anywhere near something remotley dangerous.

It's not like the movies, and very few people actually get hurt, it's mostly a property damage issue. (For those of us in FL it's also a wallet issue - homeowners ins is insane!! ) Besides they come and go in 12 hours or less.

So forget your troubles, pack your ears and keep practicing your "yo ho ho..." Savvy!?!

Yes we are traveling alone. That would be something to wind up at the same table. I wonder if anybody else on the disboard will be seated together without being linked?

Our son is starting college on the 4th and we are leaving on the 7th. I kept having flashbacks of the movie, "Risky Business".

He is going to Community College of Philadelphia for Digital Imaging. Our last cruise on the Wonder we went with friends so we had a table for 8. This cruise I told the TA to request a table for 8 again.

We had cruised for years with my SIL and her family so eating with total strangers is something I'm not accustomed to but will adapt. I get my wife to do all the talking.
