09/08/07 Early Check in September 8, 2007 Western

WOW!! We're not the newbies anymore!! All that time! Welcom aboard Bob and Jill. You know, this is my first "REAL" cruise, but even on the last one we met some really nice people, and even that was when we were oON the cruise. Now, we have 74 days, and I cna't wait to meet all of you! Gotta love the internet!

BTW I am pretty sure we have early dining with the kids, but I know my wife and i will be out later then them as we are bringing a full time babysitter along with us (Grandma).

Talk soon!:rotfl:

Don't you just love when you have a built in babysitter? I haven't needed one of those for awhile!

Can we pub crawl today? We are ready!

To my brother (DnJLaw777)-

How much will mom love seeing that she is along to act as a babysitter? Donita and I both think that the first few rounds will be on you. Yes, we do have have early dining.

Hope all is well-

Hi!

It took me a week to catch up to the last page of this thread but I feel that I know you all well.

My DH, Bob and myself, Jill, will be sailing on September 8. I just booked last week. We have a verendah room but don't know where we will be located yet. We also don't know which seating we have but we usually end up with late seating due to traveling childless. Our DD, age 22, went on a three day with us in Feb but she is not coming on this one.

I was able to book Palo right away because we are CC members. I think this is number 14 for me! We are dining there the first night of the cruise.

We haven't booked any excursions yet. Not sure if we will or not. We are definitely in for the pub crawl in Key West! Irish Kevin's is our favorite!

We don't need to order leis. I hosted a bridal shower in April and have a few left over that we can use. Don't know about the breakfast or the lunch....let me check with the other half on that.

The last cruise that we went on, Carnival Glory, we ended up meeting a great couple on the Cruise Critic website and spent a lot of time with them.

We are very excited about this trip! Can't wait to meet you all.

Welcome JJCJFL !
Ok.. so you caught us all being funny!:lmao: Welcome to the cruise!

And to Twin Princesses, I agree... I hope there is 1 3d movie showing.

To my nieces (Twin Princesses) If there aren't any 3-d on the ship I know you will see at least one while at WDW before the cruise. Yes there is a person to clean the room but you still need to pick up after yourself. You know put your dirty clothes away and put the traash in the waste basket. I am glad all three of you are getting excited. The time is getting closer. Aunt Lois

Dear Twins, I hope you have a GREAT cruise!! My daughter is 4 and she is so excited that all she talks about is meeting her friends the princesses, especially Snow White, who has given her a kiss ( nearly 2 years ago at WDW) as for your room, even if your Aunt, and grandparents make you clean your room, you can always ask to do it later and count on the maids!!!

I am a very strict father to my kids (2 and 4) but on the cruise, I have promised NOT to yell at all!!

BTW... I love my Mom, but isn't that why Grandparents were made? pirate:

folks keep an eye on that Roster and other list. I want it to be correct and I fear that I will miss a post or not tranfer the information correctly. Let me know and I will fix it. I am so excited and it is so neat to see that some have picked the same excursions as I have. That's another reason to check the roser to see who else is going to be playing in the sun at the same time as you.
I only have 66 days to go WDW Here we come!!!!DCL to follow.

Good Morning!

Twin Princesses- You are in for a treat! I think Disney Cruises are the most special, magical cruises around. Get ready to be treated like princesses for 7 days! I hope you have the best time ever. You have to clean up a little bit! No one's too cute for that.

Welcome Bob and Jill. I see you are another couple like us, that is cruising without the kids.
I still have plenty of kid left in me to thoroughly enjoy the Disney cruise experience!:cool1:

That's exactly where we are...love the parks and the cruise! Orlando is a great place to be!
We will be at the adult pool/bar and Bob loves to go to the Entertaining Series that they have on the seven day.

We have been in that boat. This is our 3rd Disney cruise, our first time traveling with children (my neice and nephew). We are both expecting a wonderful time, jsut a different type of time.

Love the quiet cove pool, be on the look out for us

Hope all is well -

My nieces will be with us but so will their mom. So I'll see you at the quiet cove pool. I will spend time with the girls but not all my time. I love that pool.
