09/08/07 Early Check in September 8, 2007 Western

Hey Stina, We'll be down at WDW from Oct 30th thru Nov 8th (when we leave for our Eastern cruise on the Magic!). We'll be down with a group of about 20 of us Disney nuts from around the country who get together every other year & do stuff like MNSSHP, Haunted Hayride, Miniture Golf Tournament, Party for the Senses at F&W. Why don't you & Christine join us? You could lead us in a pub crawl around Epcot during the Food & Wine festival!
Chris

Hi everyone!

Did I hear PUB CRAWL? :drinking1
Count us in! We love to go to the parks!
I am taking my sister who just lost her husband on a three day on 3/6. Not a long enough cruise for me but it is her first cruise and I want to see how she likes it. How can you not?

Glad to see that there are still people checking this thread!

Take care!

Jill

Keeping the thread (and the magic) alive. :goodvibes

I'm all about a pub crawl with the DISers. Just remind me closer to the date you come down. Jill has my private email, but I can PM Chris with it as well. Very cool.

After we moved down here to Florida we found out there's a Sloppy Joe's in St. Petersburg that has all the same drinks & food as the Key West SJ's so that's way cool. We've been several times already of course! :thumbsup2

By the way, Florida is awesome. So glad we moved here. Having lots of fun and great weather. Christine and I are both gainfully employed. Thanks to all who prayed for us and wished us luck in our relocation. We are very happy! :yay:

Sounds great! A Pub Crawl in Epcot & then Janet & I sail on the Magic on 11/8 for an Eastern cruise. I'll keep in touch.

Just got off the Wonder last Sunday. A three day cruise is not enough but hey, it's better than nothing! We are looking to go to Alaska for our vacation this year. Too bad the other ships are not ready yet. We will need to go on another line.

Jill

Janet and I are in the heat of planning 21 days with mickey for September/October. 7 nights at POP followed by 14 nights on the Magic. I think it is awesome that folks keep checking back and let us know what is going on. Christine & Christina I will for sure arrange something with you. I will contact you in July or August. Do you think you would prefer to go to the 1st park with us or to just visit DTD and grab a bite to eat. I am making the assumtion that Sat/Sun would be better for due to work. Looking forward to touching base. Anyone else want to join us while we are down? Lois

Jill, congrats on your Wonder cruise and your upcoming Alaska trip.
Hope to see you around at the parks some time! We will be at Disney on the weekend of Apr 5-6 with some friends. We might even go to Jellyrolls that Sat night!

Lois, we would love to hang out with you and do whatever you think is fun. We have APs so any park is not a problem or DTD is fun too! :thumbsup2
Weekend would definitely be better. We'll touch base closer to the date.

It will need to be DTD on Saturday evening as we don't get in untill around noon, but we could grab a bite to eat and do some shopping together. Or we could do Hollywood Studio together on Sunday. We have Ressies to eat at Mama Melrose at 5:30 with reserve seat for Fantasmic. If you would want to join us for that then we need to add you to our ressies so might need to plan sooner. Talk about it and let me know. I don't think this far out that adding two would be too hard. Just let me know. We would love to see you both. Lois

Hope all our former cruisers are doing well!

Enjoy! I had a new granddaughter born on 4/24. I sure am enjoying her. Get to see her about once a week. Already planning her first trip to Disney. Janet and I will be at WDW from 9/20 to 9/26 if anyone who want to join us. Debbie and my three nieces are going to be with us from 9/22 to 9/26. On 9/27 we are getting on the Magic to do a Back to back. I am so excited and it is already paid off. Just got to save our spending money now.

I hope everyone is doing well and that everyones dreams are coming true. Lois

Lois,

Thought some of you might like to see my new grand baby. I think she is the best. She is just less than 2 days in this one. Lois

Attention Florida residents & those visiting WDW the week of nov. 1st
A group of us “old Disneyana”/DVC’ers will be at WDW on November 7th and have set up a tour with the Disney Institute. The tour is called “Innovations in Action” . We must have 20 people signed up to take this tour as this is not your “regular” back stage tour but, instead a rather detailed tour that is not generally offered to the public. The cost for this 3 hour tour is $99 and it will take you to the “Utilidors” beneath the Magic Kingdom, to the Tree Farm to see how they do those wonderful topiaries are created and to the second largest laundry facility in the world (laundry? – can you only imagine how much laundry they create at Disney World) along with some other fascinating facts.
For those interested or who would like more information please click on the link provided here and register directly with the Disney Institute. .

We have planned some other activities for that week. If interested please e-mail me at sgtslovak@aol.com.
Hope to see some of our former shipmates again!
Chris

Hey Chris, that is way cool! How many spaces do you have left for the tour? And what time is it at on Nov. 7?

Thanks! Christina

Guess what?! We're cruising again...in January this time! Giving the Eastern a whirl. Though we will miss Key West.

The Disney tour starts at 9 AM Fri Nov 7th & there are at least 5 or 6 spots still open.
There are also spots open for an exclusive lunch with the Animal Kingdom Lodge animal curator at Jiko's on Tues. Nov 4th.
There may be a few spots open for an Illuminations Cruise we booked for Wed 11/5 andon Thurs evening Nov 6th we are doing a "Graze Around The World" combo Pub Crawl /Dessert Crawl at Food & Wine.
If interested in anything PLMK
