09/05/09 LABORless MAGICal Meanderers

We did manage to get the two shore excursions we wanted though and a dinner session at Palo on Master Chef night so we were pleased about that.
We've got Palo ressies for Tuesday night, too! :yay: 9 p.m. What time are you all going?

Just a few things I probably forgot to include in my original post:

Bracelets -- 2 adult-size for us, please!
Celebrations -- my 44th birthday and our 24th anniversary

Hey BeckyThane:) We have ressies for 6.30pm. Early but I am counting on having a long dinner and we will have the kids in the club for that time. I've added your celebrations and bracelet info to the front page.

DeeRest, we have the full pirate gear for the whole family. I was very shocked that DH agreed to dressing up, I can't wait for the photographic evidence :lmao: Master Chef night from what I can understand is a special menu that they serve on that night, someone correct me if I am wrong but I think it is the same in all 3 of the rotational dining restaurants? As much as the menu appealed to me, Palo won out in the end.

Queen, definately looking forward to some toasty weather. I love the heat! Right now it is probably about 16 degrees celcius so not too bad when it is sunny but when it is overcast and windy I really feel it. It usually snows in winter about an hour away from where I live in the Blue Mountains. Our summers can reach to mid forties celcius but we don't have the humidity we are going to experience I am sure once we get there.

Thanks! :goodvibes

9 in Palo is a little later than our second seating, but I didn't want to miss the show that night, so I took whatever time was closest to our normal seating. I figured we could eat mid-afternoon, then be hungry again for a late dinner. I hope the clubs are hopping that night so we can work that all off! :dance3:

Here is a picture of Wilson after the Pirate League makeover. She was going to be Tinkerbell on Pirate Night, but now I think she will be a pirate.

Two months from today! Time is going by fast. I am so excited!!

Agreed! I have a packing list started! (Yes, I probably need therapy :rotfl:) but I have to plan! Somebody stop me!

Thanks, Ibela, all is well now:) Baby's name is Juliana Grace, and she is a sweetie, although all I have ever seen her do is sleep...:confused3

is your trip in Nov. a girls trip? or am I thinkin everybody's the same as me:confused3:) we are trying to peer pressure all our friends to go...we have a 2 bedroom at SSR, last year only 3 of us went so we bumped down to a 1br. we are kidnappin some friends this yr if we have to, lol..

Juliana Grace is a beautiful name! I'm sure her parents are very pleased that she seems to sleep so much. :thumbsup2

No, my Nov trip is a family trip. I don't have any friends that would want to go without children. (Right now, I only have 2 friends with kids and they don't even want to take them to WDW yet.)

We have returned from Disney and my daughter had a great time! It was a true pirate/princess trip. We ate dinner with Cinderella, lunch with Remy, breakfast with Mary Poppins and Alice. We also were able to visit the Pirate's League. If anyone can tell me how to upload pictures, I will.

Oh, awesome!! Did you have dinner at the castle or the place in Norway? I'm thinking to book lunch in the castle so she can see all the princesses but when asked, she said she'd rather eat with the mice and the fairy godmother. Maybe I should do dinner there and the Norway place for lunch? :confused3

If you create an account on photobucket . come and upload your pictures, it give you the link to insert for here.

OMG, she is soooo adorable and precious.

You're not alone...I started my list a few weeks ago, along with a '"to-do" list. Lord knows if I don't start thinking of things now, then I'm liable to forget something between now and then!

All weekend I kept telling my husband just how close we were getting!

disney minnie-Wilson is a doll!

Well, now that I am home from my last weekend away before the cruise, my suitcases are ready to be packed! I will start packing here and there starting now!

Disney minnie, she is adorable!!:lovestruc

Our Palo dinner is Tuesday at 6pm. My mother and I are dining with beachlover101..so it seems quite a few of us are going that night! I also have brunch on Monday with mom..which is on my anniversary:love:

ibela, it is really hard getting moms away from their kids to go to Disney! some kind of mental block...my friend and I go at least once a year with family, and so we don't feel too bad..we are able to things we couldn't with the kiddies...last year we did the key to the world tour at MK, this year we are thinking about doing the segway tour at Epcot. and it IS during food and wine:woohoo: so they really couldn't possibly keep up with us anyway:rotfl:

We also made our Palo Reservations for Thursday night! I can't remember what time though, I will have to log on some time before the cruise and check! I just remember we didn't care for the Captains Gala Menu so that is why we chose that night.

We are definitely feeling the excitement creep up in our house, we started talking more this weekend about things we want to do. We still haven't decided in Grand Cayman what to do, we might stay on the ship, not sure yet though. We have been to Grand Cayman before.

Have a great day!

Our brunch is also Mon, dinner I thought was for Thur but maybe it's Wed.?! I didn't want to go for Captain's Gala night!! I'll double check at home when I have my reservation #.

You misunderstood, my friends have no interest in going to Disney with their kids, let alone without them! I know!

Oh my, ibela...that is:scared1:! I don't have kids (at least not the 2-legged kind), but I might be up for taking a trip without the DH...Just don't tell him I said that!!:rotfl:

i am so not ready. DH always kids me about "over" planning for our trips to WDW, but I like to be prepared. I fell so not ready to go on a cruise in 2 months. I have a packing list and need to start getting things together.

Ibela - We have been to CRT and Norway in the past. This time we went to 1900 Park Fare for dinner (Prince Charming, Cinderella, Stepmother, Stepsisters) and breakfast (Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Alice, Pooh, and Tigger) and loved both of them. We are going back in January for the marathon and celebrating Wilson's 4th birthday (a little late); I'm not sure where we will eat then.

Norway when we went was - Belle at the door, Snow White, Jasmine, Little Mermaid, and Aurora walking around. The picture was included in the price of the dinner, unlike the other restaurants.

Does anyone have a Disney Visa??? If you do, don't miss the meet and greet and free picture at Epcot. We went at 4:00 and Wilson had a private session with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. I was so surprised that I could hardly believe it.

My stuff is already packed in our storage unit - remember it's a surprise!!!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have family that are this way....I honestly don't get them...actually a few families that are family...they flabbergast me...I agree that I go overboard with disney, but....none at all?????? I don't get it..at least try it..I used to cringe when people would say, 'I want to wait until they will remember it', now I go 'off' on them...Funny, they don't say that to me anymore:rotfl:
My baby went at 8weeks and now she will celebrate her 9th or 10th (I lose track of hers, because of my solos:laughing:) in September!!

Hi everyone! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I have started shopping for the FE (including buying extras in case we have extra joining us). I just found out that Air Tran changed my flight times....which was a GOOD thing since I was able to make a free change to my flights. Now I am on the direct flights between MSP and MCO! Life is good!

We were sent an e-mail today from DU (our travel agent) that there is a FL resident discount for the cruise now, so we received a discount. I am happy about that! Just a head's up for any other FL residents that have booked.

Kelly

We have booked an excursion with this company for Grand Cayman:

www.stingraysailing.com

I just wanted to share in case anyone would like to join us. They have several awesome reviews here and on other cruise boards.

Are we close enough to our travel dates that I can ask my questions about FE's and gifts?
I know it is supposed to be one gift per person, but can the gift be designated male, female and youth/child?
Do we hand the gift to the person at a specific meeting time, or do we put them in the FE hanging by the door?
What if the gift doesn't fit in the pocket of the FE?
Do I need to worry that someone else will disturb it after I place it in the FE pocket?
When will the final number of participants be decided?
What if you don't think you have enough talent to make an FE for your door???
Aaaaahhhh!!!:dance3:
Can you tell I getting too excited about this????
