I got my Palo reservations :yay:

Brunch Sunday and Dinner Monday. My friend's window opened so I motivated her to get us booked!!!

YES :cheer2:

Awesome, glad you got what you wanted!

Hi everybody! Sign us up! We just booked today. We were actually booked on this cruise early in the year but thought we weren't able to go so we had to cancel, but everything has worked out and we are able to go again! I am not sure if I posted on the thread early in the year or not, I can't remember.

It will just be DH (Robert,30) and I (Kelly, 31) on this cruise. We are DCL vets, actually we were married on Castaway Cay nearly 7 years ago, but this will be our first Western on DCL. We did a Western on RCL a couple of years ago. I am so excited!!!

I have to get in gear and figure out what we would like to book this weekend since we get to do our bookings Sat night!!

Kelly :)

Welcome!! I just realized I'm all set with what I want EXCEPT I'm not sure if I have my reservation number so I can't log in online. :upsidedow

At least I know where to check and if it's not there, I still have time to call up tomorrow and get it before booking! I set a reminder on my cell phone in case I somehow forget. :surfweb:

Welcome to all the new members of our group! I can't wait to meet everyone! I can't believe it's almost time to make reservations! Is everyone still planning on staying up late tomorrow?

Welcome Keggy. If I remember correctly, you were like us and booked on the July 4 Baltic cruise, but cancelled. It was going to run around $30,OOO for us with cruise and air fare. This one is a whole lot cheaper.:thumbsup2

Previous DCL guests get to book their Palo, etc. reservations tonight, is that correct? We are in CA so we get to book them at 9 PM our time? Can anyone confirm? Thanks!!!!!

Yes - that is correct! We are now booked on this cruise and we are doing an Alaskan cruise next year as well. There is still one couple left on that Baltic cruise out of the 4 of us that booked together. I said good for them, but I can't justify spending all of that money!!

We were at Kennedy Space Center today and went to Grills for dinner and got to see the Magic sail. I took some pics and will try to post in the morning. I feel like this is a cruise day with booking everything tonight!

Good luck to everyone booking tonight!

Yea! All of my Palo reservations have been booked!!!

I booked our excursion and Palo. I am disappointed about our Palo dinner time, but at least we got a reservation. I will try to switch times once we get on the ship.

:goodvibesWe have never been to Palo before, although we have cruised on DCL seven times! I can't wait till September!!!:goodvibes

All booked! Got everything we wanted! We were only booking Palo brunch and dinner though.

Off to sleep!

OK, so on to the story . . . :lmao:

Yesterday I went thru my preferences during the day to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted and realized I had no back up dinner day, so I got one. Then I did a "run through" and for some reason my e-mail wasn't registering so I had to sign up again  - glad I checked!

I sent a text to Erik (dh) with our reservation # and what I wanted in case for some odd reason we wouldn't be home. Wouldn't you know we were at my in-laws at 11:30pm last night?! It's a 25 minute drive home so he suggested we wait there so I can make my bookings so we're not on the road for some unusual reason at midnight. Good idea, except then I had to explain to their friends who were over why I had to book things at exactly midnight when the cruise was still 3 months away. :headache: Midnight rolled around, brunch reservation check, dinner reservation - I had no idea what TIME I wanted! Was there a show that I'd have to pick up the kids for or could I enjoy a leisurely meal? I quickly logged into the DIS to look at a navigator and saw the answer was no, so I went back and booked the dinner. A few Flounders reservations for the baby and parasailing on CC just in case. I'm pretty sure I want to do it, Erik's totally unsure so I booked it in the meantime since out of the whole day, there's only 1 time slot I'm interested in.

I just checked now and I could've gotten everythying I wanted now rather than waiting up last night so that's a good sign for you newbies. Only thing is I just thought maybe I'd like to try the High Tea but those are all gone so oh well.

Here's what I booked:
brunch on Thu @ 11 w/ Flounders
dinner on Sun @ 7:30 w/ Flounders
Flounders for the pirate party
parasailing @ CC @ 10:30 (booked for 2 but will probably change it to just 1)
Exotic Rasul on Mon @ 11 (iffy on this one too) w/ Flounders

You may want to go back and double check because last nght and even this morning I didn't think I saw any dinner time slots being fully booked? Does the time maybe conflict with another booking of yours? Mine was getting a little confusing when I wanted to switch my dinner time because of my reserved nursery time so I had to cancel and then go back in and it took.

Editing to say I just went back and checked so I didn't give false information, the only fully booked Palo dinner time slot is Thur @ 7pm but 6:30 and 7:30 are both currently open that day.

For a newbie that can't start booking till the 22nd, what are the chances of getting a brunch at Palo and massage at Castaway Caythen? My friend who convinced me to try DCL told me I needed to do both of those. She kept talking about her cruise in May so much that I booked. Now I've been talking about mine, so she "had" to book another one for the end of the year. We are apparently bad for each other.....but good for the economy!:rotfl:
