09/05/09 LABORless MAGICal Meanderers

At midnight the reservations open for 105 days out. Will anyone else be up with me?

I'll be up! It will only be nine here in Oregon. We're Castaway Club & DVC but we have to wait til 90 days - June 7. Let me know that you get the reservation(s) you wanted! We may have to beg shipboard :flower3:

Yeah, I did it!!! I was able to get Palo dinner, brunch, and tea, my two spa appts., and parasailing at CC with Preston on his birthday.

We already booked Stingray City and the dolphins in Cozumel on our own.

Now I feel like we are really set. Good luck to everyone else!:thumbsup2

Anyway, we are debating over the shore excursions. Ive been doing a lot of research here and so far we are considering doing for Cozumel-Playa Mia, but booking on our own.

We went to Playa Mia on DCL 2004 trip. Sabrina was nearly 4. We had a great time and swam out to the trampoline thing. Looking back it was pretty crazy going out that far with a little one and just pool-quality swim rafts. :fish:

The pool was fine The buffet was OK (not DCL but not expected here).
Did you find their website? playamia.com

For Grand Cayman, I don't know about a beach break but I think were going to do a Stingray and Island tour with NativeWayWatersports. They don't have age restrictions on their Stingray tour and this one goes to the Stingray Sandbar only, not all the way out so its probably best for our littlies. I think this also has the option of getting dropped off at 7 Mile Beach, which we'll probably do.

DCL 2005 - We did the submarine, hit the Hard Rock Cafe and samples Tortuga Rum Cake Yummmmmm. I can't wait to go there again

Are you guys flying in on the morning of the cruise?

When did you end up setting your flights? We'll come in a couple, days ahead. Still watching fares go up and down. Missed a good one yesterday. (DH was asleep :confused3 ) $226 RT Portland, OR to Orlando!!

We're flying in the day before (9/4) and staying at the airport Hyatt before driving down to port next morning - planning on renting a minivan but haven't done it yet.

Hello all - I just booked on this cruise. This is my first Disney cruise, but definitely not my first Disney visit (4 to WDW). I'm traveling solo so I can let the big kid in me loose. Is it too late to join in for the Fish Extenders? If not, is this going to be daily or just one time? Looking forward to meeting everyone. :yay:

Welcome prdaniel! :welcome:

Yes, you will LOVE DCL!!!!!! Once you sail with DCL, you will be hooked.
I am sure that you find that since you have been to WDW no other amusement park compares. Well, that is how it is with DCL. Once you sail DCL, not other cruise will compare. It is best in shows and service! You will get spoiled and hooked! :thumbsup2

Count me in for FE. Is the list of those participating on the page 1 still current or is there an updated one? And is it one gift per cabin or per person? I sure don't want to leave anybody out!

I think (?) we decided it was one time per person for the week. If this is not correct I would love fro someone to jump in...

Send a PM to the first post with all of your info.

Hey all. We just wanted to let you all know that we just booked this cruise online. We've lived in Orlando for many years and are WDW regulars (annual passholders since 1998), but this will be our FIRST Disney Cruise!

My dw (Sara) found a good deal online and we decided to take the plunge. We've been on several other cruise lines leaving out of Florida (Celebrity and RC) and have had nothing but great experiences. We're hoping that Disney will be able to work its usual Magic and exceed our expectations. We'll be bringing our ds (London, 3) to run amok in the kid area to expend some of that energy he seems to have so much of (His Disney nickname right now is 'Dash' for obvious reasons).

We hope to get to know all of you (I'm going to have to read all the previous pages to get up to speed) and hopefully have our 3 year old make some friends on this ship. Hope to talk to you all often before we set sail.

BTW, if any of you need any local info or just WDW tidbits that you cant seem to find on here, feel free to shoot us a message.

Hi everybody! Sign us up! We just booked today. We were actually booked on this cruise early in the year but thought we weren't able to go so we had to cancel, but everything has worked out and we are able to go again! I am not sure if I posted on the thread early in the year or not, I can't remember.

It will just be DH (Robert,30) and I (Kelly, 31) on this cruise. We are DCL vets, actually we were married on Castaway Cay nearly 7 years ago, but this will be our first Western on DCL. We did a Western on RCL a couple of years ago. I am so excited!!!

I have to get in gear and figure out what we would like to book this weekend since we get to do our bookings Sat night!!

Kelly :)
