I will be up with you!
I have it marked on my calendar.
No, we didn't receive any cruise documents in the mail. Was it all of the boarding papers, etc.? I didn't think they would come in this early. I know that ours will go to our travel agent first; then he will call us.
This TA has been a nightmare. I am having to stay on top of him and point out mistakes, etc. We will never use him again, but it was worth using him just this one time to get the $100 OBC.

Did someone say calendar?...

I have been waiting since I put the first one up to put the next one up. I am trying to restrain myself.

So here it is... Tada!

DCL-Calendar---May.gif

I will be up on May 22nd waiting for the 23rd. Since it is our first cruise and technically our 15th anniversary present we booked the romance package. I can't wait to book everything so I can know our plans. We are trying not to book too much since we really want to relax.

I don't know about everyone else, but my husband and I have had enough running around. This past weekend we... 1. drove two hours away for our son's first track meet (all day Saturday) 2. Sunday - 9:00 soccer game, 10:00 - 12:30 had to be at the church to set up for Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet, 12:00 soccer game, 12:30-2:30 banquet, and last but not least we were throwing a shower for some friends at 5:00. Thank goodness this weekend is in the past and there are only 22 more days of school!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Love the calendar!:woohoo:

The calendar is awesome!

Btw, Disney Minnie - did you ever hear back from Chankanaab about the Dolphin excursion? I was waiting until we got closer hoping for a discount but MAN would I be ticked if they say sorry, book through DCL. Just read through the thread, and I don't like it!!

Just wanted to post to say that airfare is finally booked (well, reservation is on hold, we're supplying our info tonight, great deal only $59 each way!) and I just booked the room for our pre-cruise night's stay. I got the Hyatt on Hotwire for $80 (that's with all taxes and fees) per room!

Just switched a 4-day cruise to this cruise!! We are definitely in for a fish extender exchange.

Hi all,

This will be my first Disney Cruise! I'll be boarding with my fiancee' and disembarking with my husband.

Welcome, pandaexpress! How exciting that you'll be getting married on the cruise! I can't imagine how much planning you've had to do!

Congrats on getting your airfare booked, ibela! I'm sure you're relieved that you were able to get such a great rate!:thumbsup2

Hi, buckeyelabmom! It's great to have you here as well! How awesome that you switched from a 4-day! I'm sure y'all are excited about those extra days you'll be getting!!!

This will be our first cruise so we are definitely excited! My husband didn't take much interest when I first booked - but once he started looking at the 7-night itinerary he decided he was interested :) So I obliged him and changed our booking. I got one of the "secret" verandah rooms and got a *really* good deal from a TA (not DU). We are only paying about $300 more for the 7-night than the 4-night (we were booked in a cat. 6 for the 4 night though).

Does anyone have excursions picked out yet? We have just started looking at that - so when our 75-day comes we'll be ready to book!

Wow, that's an awesome deal for switching to a 7-night! You can't beat that! Good for you!:thumbsup2 That is definitely something to be excited about. I'm glad that you're DH is showing interest now!

We have all our excursions picked out. Can't wait to get them booked. I won't bore everyone by listing them here, but I have them deatiled over on my TR if you care to check it out. The link is in my signature!:)

:dance3:Welcome pandaexpress and buckeyelabmom:dance3:

So excited to hear all of your wonderful plans. We have decided not to go ahead with our REAS package so will now have to wait to make the shore excursions a little longer. Someone correct me if Im wrong, but isnt it 90 days in advance if your a first-timer?? Thats when I'll be up at some odd hour booking. So just to double check, is it midnight on the day your are allowed to book that you can make reservations?

Yes it's 90 days for a first timer, but the only thing it really matters for is Palo reservations. I can't imagine that any excursion is fully booked out at 90 days, at least not on this cruise. (Maybe on the Panama one or the European ones.)

Btw, I booked our Dolphin Experience on my own directly too, saved us $515 to do it that way vs via DCL. Now I just hope the swine flu dies down between now and Sept . . . :scared1: It did say that if your ship doesn't make it into port they'll credit you the whole thing though.

I haven't been on your TR in forever, I'm scared about catching up but of course I will. :thumbsup2

I was wondering how fast the excursions will fill up. I'm glad that you don't think it will be too bad. Since the DSIL and DNiece can't book at the same time we can, I think we're just gonna wait until they can and do it all at the same time. I would hate to book ours and then they try to book and not be able to get the same thing.

How awesome that you were able to save so much on the Dolphin Encounter. I wonder why it's so much higher to go through DCL?

I'm with you on that Swine Flu. I was thinking about that this morning! Scary stuff!

You really haven't missed much since I haven't had that many "real" updates lately!

I'm certainly no expert but at 30 days out on a Mediterranean cruise I was able to book everything I wanted. There are some that I think are very limited to how many people they allow, but usually those are like helicopter tours or something that maybe 10 people can do total.

Because DCL is just that money hungry! Seriously, they want to charge my 3yr old $110 for a Dolphin experience which is costing me $8 by booking directly. Granted with DCL the transportation is included but it's a 10 minute taxi ride so I'm thinking we're still making out well.

I thought it was 75 days for a first timer, 90 days for previous cruisers, and 105 for suites and REAS.

Anyone else know?

We booked through the dolphin place and also saved a ton. Geoffrey and Preston's time is 11:00 and Wilson and I are swimming (petting) at 1:00.

Welcome buckeyelabmom :cheer2: Thanks for joining the FE.
