09/05/09 LABORless MAGICal Meanderers

I am not 100 % sure what it is, but I do know they have a special menu for it. If anyone else could elaborate that would be great:thumbsup2

OK guys, here is the lowdown:

Saturday: Cruise Casual
Sunday: Cruise Casual - day at Key West
Monday: Formal wear - day at sea
Tuesday: Cruise Casual - day at Grand Cayman, Master Chef Night
Wednesday: Pirate or Cruise Casual - day at Cozumel, Pirate Night
Thursday: Semi Formal - day at sea, Captains Gala
Friday: Cruise Casual - day at Castaway Cay, Til We Meet Again

Evenings from Tuesday to Friday have a special menu to celebrate each of the evenings occassions.

Awesome, you rock!! I need to figure out which night we want Palo and which day for brunch. REmember, it can't be on the same day and brunch is only on at sea days and at key west!

What is Master Chef Night???

The menu is posted on here somewhere, with all the other menu scans. On the top of the toolbar the menu is buried, if I find it before anyone else does, I'll post the direct link. I remember of all the menus that one appealed to me least last time and was when we went to Palo. That said, the Fri. night menu I really didn't like either and had a hard time finding something to order - but this time I want to be able to take Fallon to the farewell thing which we all missed last time because she was sleeping (she was 17 months at the time!) and we were busy packing. Note to self: don't wait until the last day to pack this time around.

Here are the posted menus:

Looks like Master Chef is Golden Mickey night (and is now featuring my favorite entree) so I may have to make my Palo night for Friday. Anyway, that's how I decide lol. Although I think they said on the main forum that the menus will be switching in May so I may need to replan. . .

Oh no! I might need to replan myself, can't miss out on Lobster:rotfl: Do they always do the Lobster at Captains Gala? I wonder if that will change:confused3

queenof2princesses - I read on the boards that the dolphin place is no longer taking reservations from Disney cruise guests. I freaked out and went online to try and book. At first it wouldn't let me book online, but then it did. I put "cruise" in the "hotel" line - not Disney cruise, just cruise and it gave me a conf. #. Hopefully it won't come back to me in the next 24 hours. Anyway, you might want to go ahead and book.

Which company did you book with? We are trying to decide between Dolphin Discovery and Dolphin Cove. DD wants to swim with dolphins for her birthday. Our GC day is her actual birthday so we want to do it that day. I am having trouble deciding which one because I have not been able to read reviews on the dolphin places at GC. I can read many on Cozumel, though.....just not GC.
We don't know what to do.

I booked Dolphin Discovery. Geoffrey and Preston are doing royal swim and Wilson and I are doing the dolphin encounter. We are going to Stingray City in GC.

We are going to Sea World on Friday before the cruise and they now let you feed the dolphins fish. This will be a great way to get the kids used to the dolphins before the "experience" with them.

Amazingly, the Easter Bunny brought us all stuff for our cruise! Everyone received swim shoes, goggles, and goggles case. I got an Overland bag to use as my purse during the cruise and the kids got binoculars. They were only $12.00 each and are very good quality.

What a great Easter Bunny!!!!

Hi everyone! Am I the only one who is already stocking up on ‘cruise supplies?’ I stopped by my local Target tonight and they had special 2-packs of Banana Boat Sunscreen on sale, so I grabbed one. I also got a few cruise surprises for DPapa.

You're not the only one. I think I have actually lost my mind! Since my children don't know I have everything hidden in our storage unit. My husband thinks I'm crazy!!!!

Is anyone else going to join the FE???

Papa and I will be joining too…..I just can’t remember our stateroom number. Dmom isn’t feeling well right now, so it may be a few days before I can have her look it up for me. (Dmom is our TA). How did we decide we are doing the FE is it one gift per stateroom, or one gift per day per stateroom?

What? Why wouldn't they book Disney cruise guests but others they would?! Strange . . . . maybe I should book mine too beacuse that's the only thing we really want to do.

Hi all,

This will be my first Disney Cruise! I'll be boarding with my fiancee' and disembarking with my husband.

Aww, welcome aboard and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You're *really* doing a countdown lol.

I've been so busy with getting ready to go back to work (Monday). And today's Fallon's birthday, my little angel is 3! After her party this weekend, I should have some more time.

And did everyone else get their cruise documents in the mail? Online bookings for CC members: June 7th. Who's staying online at midnight with me? :surfweb:

Count me in!!! I’ll be waiting up with you. Actually, I’ll be up late anyway since one of my best friends is getting married that night and I am going to her wedding and the reception.
