Yep someone else must've grabbed the brunch, because the only thing showing sold out when I looked was the High Tea.

Keep checking the website, as folks do rearrange their plans. And whether its our groups or someone elses, at 30 days out SOMEONE will get the private room which should free up some tables at all 3 brunches.

Exactly! We should have the private room on both Sunday and Monday for this group. That will free up several ressies. We have a table for 2 and a table for 4 reserved for brunch on Monday. If we get the private room both of those will open up. We will keep you posted here, Amber.

Thanks for the encouragement. How did you get the private room for both Sunday and Monday. I know we want to get brunch on Sun or Mon because we do not want to go to brunch on Thursday after eating a late PALO meal on Wed.

I have read there is a lot of seafood at the Brunch which I don't eat, but my DH loves. That is why he is pushing so hard for brunch.

On another topic, it looks like I made the correct choice to go private on my excursions. There is really is nothing to do for those of us with children under five. I am glad private vendors do not have that limitation.

You fax a request for the private dining room to DCL. You have to have at least 12 people to request it and the max is holds is 14. They do not let you know if you get it until 30 days out. So, although 2 of us have requested it, for Sunday/Monday and Monday/Tuesday (you have to give a first and second choice), we don't know for sure yet. So, we booked regular as a back up. I faxed my request back in Feb, so I am hoping!! :thumbsup2

We booked the Butterfly Farm tour and the St Thomas Island Tour for some of our group. We will be taking the 1 year olds with us on those. There was no restriction on ages for them.

Only 10 Mondays, and I have three of those Mondays off (one will be at WDW)!

My countdown on my desktop seems to be moving much too slowly. I should have a lot less than 67 days! Maybe something's wrong with the internal clock on this thing? :rotfl:I'll have to call our IT person later and ask him to speed up time for me. I'm sure he'll agree, since he's going on vacation at the same time, although not to the same place.

I golfed 18 holes today at a beautiful course. And I'm doing it again next Monday ;)

Got online last night, and was able to book one Palo dinner for Wednesday evening (which is also Cindy's birthday), and a Rasul treatment for Cindy and I on Monday just before lunch. There were no Brunch's open.

I'mmmmm Backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !!!!

Hope all is well with each of you..

No time to going through posts now but I will eventually catch up.. :surfweb:

More later..

:yay:

10 More Mondays until we hear the ship's horn!!

:woohoo: :wave2: party: :boat:

One of our remaining Mondays will be at WDW too. Woohoo! :cool1:

Man, it seems like it was yesterday that we were at 19 or 20 weeks and here we are 10. The anticipation is really getting to Jennifer and I. That's part of the fun I guess. :goodvibes

Now that is the way to spend Mondays!

We too will be at WDW one of the Mondays. And Monday Oct 8 is a holiday for me! Columbus Day, I think only Federal employees still get that one. We are taking that whole week off. We want to take the motorhome to the coast for a couple of nights to celebrate our 40th anniversary on Oct 6, then we have to spend the rest of the week painting and patching the house so we can get it listed for sale.

This will be our fifth cruise for our family and DH keeps going on and on how worried he will be that this cruise will not be like the other lines we have sailed. I keep trying to tell him that this one is for our DD totally and not to stress. He also has been whining about the cost. I am just looking forward to the vacation to be honest with you.

Yes the DCL is not like any other cruise line BUT IT IS NOT a kids only cruise! We have done 6 DCL cruises and only one with our child (34yo). He will not be disappointed!

Actually for us, this cruise is totally for DD. We get our mini-vacation to the adult Disney of Vegas two weeks before. Sure we will have fun on the cruise, but this one really is for and totally about her.

WOOHOOO!! How has everyone been! I have been a busy girl!! Parties all the time!! Busting my hump and earning my keep!:rotfl2: Business is booming![/QUOTE]

Oh needless to say - i will need a vacation by then!:beach: :beach: :beach:

Fortunately, at least in my town, municipal employees still get this day off. I am soooo looking forward to that three day weekend! With soccer on Saturday mornings now, and other things on Sundays, I don't get any time to rest, and I'm getting really run down and coming down with a cold. I don't have time to be sick! I have a vacation to plan!

We get our mini-vacation to the adult Disney of Vegas two weeks before.

I have three days in Atlantic City two weeks before my vacation, but it's a business trip. My evenings are free, however, so I'll have some time to enjoy the more adult aspects of time off--and it's a vacation away from the family, too! Since everyone will be with me for part of my big trip, I will enjoy those three nights of peace and quiet. It's funny to think of going to a place like Atlantic City for some peace!

That's part of the fun for me too. We may only be cruising for 7 days, but we're getting all this DIS fun for months!:woohoo:

Don't you and Jennifer need to update your signature line????

Amber,
Even though the cruise is for DD, you will love every minute. Since your DH is all about the seafood, I suggest asking about the seafood offerings when you get onboard. When the headwaiter comes around the 1st night you can ask him when and where are the best opportunities for seafood throughout the cruise. I'm the opposite of your DH when it comes to fish, so I can't help with specifics, but I know there are some seafood buffets and such during the cruise.

And as far as your DD is concerned, don't miss Celebrate the Journey on the last sea day! My DD's done it 3 times, and I've had tears in my eyes every time!
