Ah...you need to take your OCD mobile. I DIS on my commute to work using my Pocket PC phone. Only when I'm stopped though. ;)

How do you get the screen to show up in the "mobile" view? Or do you scroll across the screen - now that's dedication!

I've done it on my Phone, which has Opera Mini installed. It is a LOT of scrolling. We need a mobile friendly version of the DIS Boards!

I used to DIS on my old Palm Pilot. When I bought my current Palm I decided against internet access for it, mainly because I was getting eyestrain from trying to read the DIS on it!

My job requires me to be in front of a computer most of the day, and I'm often just waiting for something to download or upload or print--gives me lots of time for DISing. I have a wonderful boss who doesn't really care what I do, as long as my work is done when it needs to be.

I don't have one of those. :sad2: My cell phone is an old, old Nokia. Before they even had cameras in them! :lmao: My family thinks I need to come out of the Dark Ages, but I love this phone! I dropped it about 20 feet onto cement (Jumpin' Jellyfish ride at California Adventure). I picked the pieces up, put it back together, turned it on and it worked! I told DrHug he cannot do that with his Palm! :lmao: I'll keep my little indestructible phone. ;) I don't usually have many stops on the way anyway. I leave home at 6 am and if I get lucky I cruise thru all the signal lights. Not much traffic at that time. Half hour later I would need to stop quite a bit though! I have a 25 mile drive to work, but just straight down one highway after I get off our mountain.

Agreed. I am on a home theater forum that appears to use the same system as DIS and they have a mobile version that makes it sooooo much easier. I am posting this from my Pocket PC phone as we speak so the OCD continues. :)

Now that is good. I usually don't post when I'm browsing, because I hate trying to type on only nine keys!

:)

That Home Theater forum isn't AVSForum.com is it? :)

I've got a Palm Treo 700W with a full keyboard but it is funny watching me try to type with my giant fingers on the little bitty buttons. :)

Yes it is. :) I take it you frequent that site as well. :surfweb:

I've lurked there for some time. The other day I did my first post there. I just ordered a Sharp Aquos LC42D64U, and posted a couple of times in that thread. Since I work at Motorola I was able to get a great price on it. Unfortunately it looks like Sharp and their delivery company are swamped with orders... I'm hoping I get mine before we sail

I'm trying hard to get my hands on a Q9h, the GSM capable version of the Motorola Q. I don't like Verizon, so I'm waiting until AT&T has some. Sounds like we're going to ship our first order to them before the end of the month.

I don't know, but he is such a trooper to take our abuse!! But from the way it sounds, he really is a great guy!!!! WE LOVE YOU BRACK!!!!! :grouphug:

Thanks! I love you guys too.

I have been so busy lately. I told someone the other day that we have traveled over 10,000 miles in the last 7 weeks for both work and vacation. Even on vacation we had to deal with work issues. :confused3 It's getting better though.

I'm working on a trip report for our last WDW trip. I'll post a link soon.

Hopefully I'll be online more often now and ready for these pirate:'s :surfweb:

He is! And oh my, his bride Annette is a gem too! Lovely, fun, incredibly nice couple! I'll take the $$ when we see you in Dec Brack!

Like I tell most of our vendors ...... "the checks in the mail!" :lmao:

As a result of being an OCD, I'm checking this thread before I check my email here in the office!

I tried checking this thread before I leave home, but I almost missed my train one morning, and the next one isn't for another hour and a half. It would cost money to take a cab, and I'm saving every penny for my vacation.

Have a great day, everyone!

Beth

When we are home JoJo the DISDog likes to go out between 3AM and 6AM so I try to check the threads then; particularly if it is a "long" trip outside. :rotfl2:

Not paying attention today! This was my 6,000 post on the DISBoards!

One picture from our recent WDW trip that I did not intend on putting in the trip report but it fits this topic ......
