What resort is he at? Maybe you told us and I missed it. We are living vicariously through him this week! We need to know where we are. Glad there was more Fish 'n Chips last night!

He is staying at the Yacht Club. He told me it is nice, but he prefers the Beach Club better.

He does work hard when he is at home. He works in IT. So, it is nice that they let him have some fun at the conference.

Ok, just to clarify before I get mobbed!!! She can dress up like ANYTHING she wants. I mean look at the character Anamaria in Curse of the Black Pearl! When they were looking for a crew at the beginning of the movie, she was dressed up like a boy pirate and pulled it off GREAT!!! So that was just me at trying to come up with reasons for Pooh_Girl to not pack any more "stuff" than we need.

As soon as I read your initial post on "girls can't be pirates", I thought of Anamarie from PoC 2. So, I am glad you caught that. Also, Elizabeth dressed like a pirate too. I totally understand not wanting to bring too much onboard. We had SIX suitcases with us last time. We overpacked by a lot! Luckily, they fit into each other and fit under the bed.

We will miss the AP preview because we are going to be in Delaware with family..

But then next weekend is the cruise.. and we have extra time on Sunday before our flight.. As long as it's open we are Definately heading to HM..

DS (17) has had his license for 4 months now... got a parking ticket and was soooooooo upset.. He totally paniced when he got it.. I felt so bad.. I had to explain to him.. it's ok.. you pay the fine and it goes away.. No points, No car insurance rate going up, Nothing on license.. Nothing... I said look, your license number isnt even on the ticket at all... And besides, it goes to the owner of the car.. and that is Dad of course then he paniced again and asked well what will happen with Dad? I said the same thing.. Nothing.. pay it, it goes away...

He was in the parking lot of the Library.. It was raining so he parked quick.. There are no lines on the pavement but there are a bunch of those cinder block marker things.. Well he must of parked over the area he should of or something and got a ticket for it.. He told me, but I matched it up with the lines accross the lot in front of me.. Poor kid..

But... at least he is thinking about the consequences of a 17 year old brand new driver and what a ticket could mean.. He makes me so proud

Ok so I found out that Days of Our Lives was moved from 1pm to 2pm here in NJ.. Makes it better for me, cause when I have to pick up DS from school we get back at like 1 30 and I always missed half of it...

Nope!!! DH & I are SOLO!!!!! Woot !!!!!! and I can't wait !!! *we havent been alone on a real vacation in 5 years*

We only have 1 son (17) and he is a SR in HS and is in the 2nd year of a Medical Program in Vocational School, which he can NOT miss or he gets kicked out.. soooooooooooooo he Opped out of December.. He will be coming in September of 08 and he is all excited cause he will be 18 by then and he told me I MUST get a Palo reservation!!

My guy likes all the same silly stuff a kid or lady would get. We have gotten pencils, leis, candies, magnets, bandanas, bananas (sponge, not the real thing ), notepads, deck of cards....lots of little stuff and he was good with all of it. He wore the lei at embarkation, ties the bandana to the jeep in Cozumel. 30 jeeps with lime green bandanas flying was quite a sight!

All those jeeps with lime green bandanas....sounds like fun. Any pictures?

I have tips, etc on the days (like St Thomas excursions and shopping on the St Thomas day) but I wish I knew our rotation so I could put the menus in the right days. I also made a notebook for my friend and she just rolls her eyes everytime I give her new pages.

I don't think you have a problem!!! Actually, I'm kind of JEALOUS!!! I WISH I had a notebook all planned out. I am the world's WORST procrastinator. I just ask my DBrother and DSIL (who've taken 10 cruises) what to do and make mental notes. But I don't think we've even DISCUSSED what to do on the cruise when we're not at port.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I think I'm more excited for YOU than ME!!! Just because I'm excited you two get to have some alone time and just be adults for a week!!! That's AWESOME!!!!!
