THERE WE ARE!!!  Brack, I just love when you post these memories. I just feel warm when I remember that special group of people. :grouphug:

I think pfishgirl still works at Build-A-Bear. So they would be stuffed hippos.
That's right! I remember awhile back her mentioning that. Why would there be a rush on hippos of all the animals they have? Is there a special? Sometimes, they have "limited edition" stuffed animals. I thought it was funny she mentioned "hippos". I was visualizing a store that sold real live hippos (like Angie). That would be a site!

That would be a smelly store. How big would those cages have to be? Yikes.

Hey, everyone, how's the week going? Hope all is well. I've had an incredible week... we just got back from a surprise trip to WDW! My mother and father surprised my son (now nine) with a birthday trip to the World, and they let me tag along. :woohoo: I knew we were going somewhere, because I had to plan a vacation from work, but it wasn't until Saturday morning that I found out where we were going and that we were leaving on Wednesday afternoon. And then I did the Happy Dance!:cheer2: Of course, that left very little time for shopping, but I managed. My DS's favorite was Epcot. We enjoyed the Monster Inc's Laugh Floor show, the new Nemo Musical, Talkin' Turtle with Crush and our old fave Kilimanjaro Safari. It was the best trip! I give mom full props for pulling it off!

We just got our shirts today. We're all set for the meet. Oh, the towels are really nice and good quality too. Worth the price ;)

Wow, nice Grandma and Grandpa! :thumbsup2 Happy belated birthday to your guy! Glad you had a good time. I am looking forward to the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. We also have not seen Talkin' Turtle wit Crush yet. Less than 6 months!! :woohoo:

We need a countdown for this cruise! It is getting closer. :thumbsup2

Our first DVC stay last week at SSR. We'll stay there again before and after the cruise.

What a nice surprise! I am glad your son had a :bday:!!!!! Our kids can't wait to see the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor Show. It is new and wasn't there last fall.

I got the bad news last night that the family is NOT allowed to go to WDW this September with DH (Bill).:sad2: The Company took the stance that they are paying a lot of money for the employees to attend the Disney Institute and team-building activities. However, we are more than welcome to stay before or after the conference. I guess it is for the best. We can save that money for our December trip!:cool1:

It was so nice to hear the doorbell ring this morning. It was the UPS man dropping off our Disney shirts. YEA! Honestly, I was afraid to order a lime green shirt. But, the shirts are a nice lime green color (if that is possible). We can't wait to wear them!:woohoo:

It was pretty funny. Worth the short wait. :thumbsup2
Is it suitable for DS2? I have started a spreadsheet of rides/attractions he can do. It is so hard with him still being so young. MK was the best park for him last year, for obvious reasons (Fantasyland). So, we are planning most of our time at MK this year. He was mostly in the stroller at Epcot, AK and MGM. So, I kind of felt bad for him. We aren't sticking to a specific itinerary this year. But, we do have certain parks planned for certain days due to the park hours and our ADR. Believe it or not, our other two children had the best time at Epcot last year. They can't wait to go back and ride Soarin' again and again and again. I'm glad they like Epcot, because Bill and I like it too.:goodvibes

Jennifer, I think that even if there aren't a lot of rides for a 2 year old they do enjoy riding around the parks in the stroller. There is lots of sights and sounds that are fun and stimulating for them and they are on an outing with their family. And a 2 year old or a 62 year old can have fun playing the drums at Africa at Epcot! :thumbsup2 That is what I find so fun and wonderful about Disney, truly something for everyone. :goodvibes A pediatrician told us he would not advise taking DGS to DL when he was 9 months.:confused3 We ignored that silly (who obviously knew nothing about DL) man's advice and DGS had a great time. :dance3:

We are tired of the rain too! We head to San Antonio in three weeks. I have a friend that lives in San Antonio. Her daughter is turning three (on my birthday!). There is a funny story behind that. . . I was down for her baby shower and she was feeling "funny" all day. That night, the pain got worse. This is her second child. So, she knew what labor pains felt like. So, she went to the hospital. A couple hours later her husband called (we were staying at their house). He said they were keeping her and she was delivering soon. I was so excited because it was almost midnight and my birthday was the next day. I was happy when he called and said she delivered on my birthday. It is neat knowing others with your birthday. Also, we were so lucky to be in San Antonio when she delivered. It was a wonderful weekend.

Have you been to the outlets in San Marcos and Roundrock (nice upscale shops)? We always have to stop at the Disney outlet in San Marcos on our way to San Antonio. Also, it is always a nice stopping point heading down. I don't know if you've been to Grapevine Mills Mall in awhile, but they now have a Disney outlet there too. I'm like a big kid when I see a Disney store. So, the kids don't have to drag me into the store like I see most kids having to do to their parents. I'm right there with the kids looking at all the new stuff.
