Now I see why we couldn't get the stateroom of our choice. We booked 2 months ago and most of you guys booked way before that. This will be our second cruise and I surely do wish we had started sooner. We have been to WDW many, many times but DH was never willing to cruise until just recently. We did a 4 day on Jan. 28 and he is hooked as am I. It will just be the two of us and we will be celebrating our 60th anniversary. Actually, our anniversary isn't until the 24th but this cruise will be our celebration nevertheless.

Oh my goodness! 60th anniversary, that is so wonderful! We will celebrate our 40th in Oct. Taking a 4 day cruise and then getting hooked is such a familiar story! :lmao: They really do know how to get you addicted. We are so glad you are sailing with us. We look forward to getting to know you.

Two weeks ago were were in the 70's for several days. We're supposed to get 3-6" of snow accumulated tonight. :(

We were to get 1-3 inches of snow last week. But, all we got was a dusting of snow and rain. Thank Goodness

Just rain here on the valley floor, but the snow level in the Cascades is down to 3000 feet which is really low for this time of year.

I'm still shopping for little things for everyone's stockings or mailboxes.. I have to make sure I add boy and girl things. :goodvibes Oh and they have to be small enough to fit what like 40 of them in my suitcase.

I have to remember a Fish extended when I go down my list... It's not every day that I get to add a Christmas Stocking to my suitcase :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We've got about 6" of heavy snow on the ground. It's supposed to snow through the night too. We lost power twice (about a minute each time), and we NEVER lose power. Our cable TV and internet was also out, from about 10AM until 6PM. I couldn't work from home, or watch TV, what a crappy day!

I saw on the news that some places in WI might get up to 10 inches! Whoa! I, of course, thought of my DIS friends. Stay warm!

:wave2: Hello All! All is well here in Texas.:thumbsup2 We are still planning our roadtrip for this June. We need to finalize plans. So, we can make the necessary hotel reservations. I may try and surprise DH with a few days in Ocean City, MD on the way to MA. We went there a few years ago and had fun on the boardwalk and playing at the beach. We had DS6 and DD4 with us then. They enjoyed it too.:cool1: So, it would be a nice surprise for them all. DS6 has to see the Statue of Liberty. DH wants to let him see it from a bridge on our way through NYC. But, I want to let DS6 see it close up. So, I want to take a ferry out to the statue and then to Ellis Island from Battery Park. However, I am having a difficult time figuring out where to park our car "safely" in Manhattan. Has anyone ever done this before? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
