Is anyone else feeling really stressed today?

Not today but yesterday. I think I'm finished the big fundraiser volunteer gathering and starting to pack. Told DD6 last night so the hiding is over. Will print my stuff and baby DD slept from 8ish til 5ish so it's amazing what a full night sleep can do for the mind. (or vise versa)

Oh my have I been stressed. We've had two major servers crash, and I seem to be the only one who can fix things and think through the issues logically. Everyone else is running around yelling fire. Too bad when Wed evening rolls around, my laptop is getting turned off for two weeks. I don't care if the company crashes and burns, it's not my issue. I've told my boss that this is a real vacation and not a "working vacation" like the last two turned into.

Jason, good idea, turn it off and don't turn it back on until you are home again. They will surrive.

I would like to do both. But we were already talking about DCL in Jan '09. So another time.

Well the packing is done, the dog is dropped off, and DD is folding the laundry we're finishing up before we leave. I definitely like coming home to a clean house!! And our cleaners came today so the place is sparkling. I left them 3 weeks pay today, and told them to take 2 weeks off while we're away.

Our flight leaves at noon tomorrow.

We are getting ready to leave in the morning. DD still has no idea we are going to WDW. We are so excited. A Happy Hanukkah to everyone as we head into sundown on the east coast.

Thanks Judy! We have 8 hours or so to Dulles, and then a 2 hr flight down to Orlando. But we've got Business Class for the overseas leg. We'll watch a few movies, and then we plan on napping so we can stay up late Wednesday night!

8 hours is business class won't be too bad. I did a direct flight from Chicago to Tokyo in AA Business Class, and then on the flight back got bumped to First Class. Those were about 12 hour flights.

Soaring is my favorite ride too. My favorite show is the Lion King . I've seen it dozens of times and I still get goosebumps.

I'm speaking with DH about the dates and places now.. He isn't too thrilled.. He's been to St. Croix already

We leave Friday.. Our flight leaves NJ at 6:47 pm *give or take a few*

I think there are 2 people who leave Saturday..

DH's cell phone will stay in the safe from the moment we get into our room, until the moment will leave our room Saturday to disembark... I'm sure his company can survive without him.. He has some very reliable staff to take control of anything needed be..

Plus.. we dont travel with laptops..

Some people still don't grasp the concept.. If there is an emergency.. What can we do.. We are thousands of miles away and in the middle of the Ocean? Jump Ship and ride a Dolphin to the nearest Payphone? Plus, *god forbid* if there is a Really Big emergency.. my Mother knows how to reach us.. I'm sure she'd pay the fee to contact us..
