I've started reading the WHOLE thread- almost 500 pages! Seems like this is one big happy family

I wondered if there would be fewer kids since school is in session, but it doesn't seem like that will be the case. We homeschool, so we're just taking our Christmas break early

I can be chatty with the best of them - so I'll try to do my part

That is another Reason while DH & I don't drink very much.. We are on a Ship for a week and sitting at the same table every night with the same people... Better safe then sorry

But Yes... I have a bunch od Dis'ers on the list for a Late Night dining Table... so I am guess I would need to Link all our Reservations together.. correct? Anyone? Or can we tell them when we get there we awant a Table big enough for all of us? I think he only have 8 people anyway.. I was hoping for a HUGE Dis table so we could dicuss our Daily meet ups for the next day.. But.. I understand we can't do EVERYTHING together

From what I've read about other people doing it, I think it's easier to link them beforehand. Then they know to put us all at the same table from the get-go and don't have to shuffle so many people on embarkation day.

I've also read that the largest tables seat something like maybe 12-14? And if you have more than that, they'll still link the reservations, but you'll be in different tables in the same "area."

Really? That sounds neat. But, we don't plan on going to DTD this weekend or in December. However, plans can change. Is it at the Pin Trading shop? I heard about those people asking people to buy them pins on another thread. Very creepy. There always seems to be "locals" hanging around DTD. It kind of kills the "magic" of being at Disney World being there for us sometimes. However at Christmas, it is pretty with all the lights and decorations.

It will be our 2nd Disney cruise and we're so excited! We splurged on a Cat 6 for the veranda - don't have a stateroom assigned yet, just GTY.

We are Mom DH DS(16) DS(13) We live in FL and go to WDW quite often - we LOVE pin trading!

I'm going to look over the posts and try to find some other teens - it will be our first time trying the teen events in the Stack.

Yes it is at the Pin Trading shop.. and agreed it does make it creepy with THOSE people out there Lurking I stay clear of them but DH loves to listen to their "logic" on the Value of a $10.95 pin

My travel kit came in the mail today!

Sometimes it's hard to remember that I only booked this one two weeks ago... it seems like I've been planning for it forever already. Or maybe the days are just going really slowly.

The new travel kits are much nicer than the one we got last time we cruised.

We homeschool too! So, school vacation is not an issue this year. We are flexible. But, DS7 was in Public School last year. We took him out for a week for our cruise and received grief from the School District. You will find kids onboard all year round.

If you like to chat, you've come to the right place! We are a VERY chatty bunch on here.

Don't you just love getting "Disney Mail"? It always puts a smile on my face! I was on cloud nine last year when we received the packet with the baggage tags and immigration forms.
