Thank you for asking. He told me he was going back to work today, he needs to stay busy and keep his mind occupied. Saturday, the day of the service, would have been her birthday and today is his birthday. I have to remember to call him tonight as I know this will be a tough day for him.

ooooooooooooo I can't believe I didn't share this with you.. I guess I was still kinda in shock....

Sunday on the way to Atlana Bread to get some Sandwhiches and Soup for dinner, DH & I saw 4 police cars pulling over a Black SUV.. as we slowed down in the middle of the highway we let a 5th cop half block us and wave for us to stop.. which we were already doing anyway...

So imagine 5 cop cars and about 7 police officers and a dog.. Guns Drawn.. Crouching behind the doors of the police cars...

OK so we were close enough to hear the cop on the mic telling the driver, show your hands.. up over you head.. walk slowly to my voice backwards, get down on the ground... and they watch the cop handcuff the driver and put him in the backseat of a Cop car..

Wanna know who it was?? One of the 5 men that Beat & Killed a man from Brick Township in Berkley Township

We saw it on the news that one of the men were captured yesterday.. Well..we saw it.. Up close, 1st hand...

Yeaaaaaaaaa for Dover Township police department for a job well done

Not sure how many of you have heard about this on going saga... I assume Beth may have heard something about it since she is in NJ like me..

3 accused of murder in court; 2 suspects on the loose


(10/15/07) TOMS RIVER - Three of five men accused in the murder of a Brick Township man appeared in court Monday as police continue to search for two others.

Hamid Singleton, 31, was fatally shot Thursday in the Manitou Park section of Berkeley Township. Jose Mosley, Mark Hardy and David Spinks are each charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes in Singleton’s death.

Singleton had served time in Essex County for selling drugs. He leaves behind two children and his pregnant fiancée.

Police are still searching for Kevin “Knowledge” Banks and Hassan “IU” Parker. They say the men are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

Meanwhile, Mosley, Hardy and Spinks are each being held on $500,000 bail.

Only 7 more Mondays before we can dump the kids at the Kids clubs on board.

(Uh, I mean drop off the little darlings for their special playtime, yeah that's it! )

Part of what we have been doing at camp this weekend and today was the executive staff doing calendar planning. Everytime we talked about December I had a hard time not saying "Well we're going to be in the Caribbean that day!" or "We'll be at Disney World!"

Now I have to take the time to design and print our door decorations.

OK, everybody--

After a great deal of soul-searching and budget crunching, I have made a gut-wrenching decision---

We canceled our Cat. 10--

and reserved the Cat 12 gty! Jim and I may have to share the bathroom, but it's only the two of us, and the extra money will enable us to rebook while on board, or to treat ourselves to something wonderful for our anniversary. I think we deserve something for staying together for 35 years!

So if you'd like to remove our room number from any lists and put us in the Cat. 12 gty, I'll update if/when we get a room! We were already booked on Deck 2, so the only thing we will lose (maybe) is that split bath.

Wow! What cruise are you looking to book onboard? I am going to wait to see how I feel on this cruise before we decide whether to book another. I was seasick on 3 of our 5 cruises. Even using ginger and Bonine. If I get sick this time, it will be the end of cruising for us.

Just repeat after me ..... I will not be sick, I will not be sick, I will not be sick!

I'm glad my DW doesn't get seasick. I wouldn't be happy to have to cruise by myself. I'd do it but I wouldn't be happy about it.

What does everyone else use to fight seasickness?

I have never been seasick not even in the Navy.

My DW was very afraid of being seasick on our first cruise but even though there were some rough seas she never got sick. She has not had any problem on any of our cruises.

Neither of use anything to fight seasickness at all.

I bought Iron On Transfer Printing paper or something today too.. I need to read the directions on how to use it though..

I'd like to make myself a shirt for our cruise..

I think just in this group alone we have more people in 12 gty than they actually have 12s on the ship. SOMEBODY is getting upgraded.

I'm glad my DW doesn't get seasick. I wouldn't be happy to have to cruise by myself. I'd do it but I wouldn't be happy about it.

DH told me to book myself on the November Pin Trading Cruise.. He can't wait to get rid of me.. Actually he just wants the Special Pins

Julie, thanks. We do have Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. I'll buy a small quantity and have it with if I need it.

Today I was introduced to Trader Joe's freeze dried green beans as a snack food ...... very interesting!

We used Bonine on our cruise and it worked like a champ. We just had to take it BEFORE we thought we might feel any sickness. You can pick it up at most any place over the counter.
