my headquarter's Websense software kicked in to throttle back our connection. When the bandwidth exceeds 50% it stops access to some sites like discussion boards, photo sites etc. DISBoards is one they throttle.

I think he was the founder of AA. The Friends of Bill is a discreet way to inform folks that they can attend an AA meeting while on vacation. I learned that when I was deployed to Saudi Arabia, and there was a "Friends of Bill" club on base.

I really Loved working for the Disney Store.. until The Child's Place took over and all Disney Store employees were casted out Unless you were a Manager.. We lost all our WDW, DL & DCL discounts.. Sorry I'm still a little sensative about how we were treated.. Anyway........

Build A Bear is Awesome !! They treat ALL their employees really good.. Even little things like Popcorn & a Free Day's pay for Employee Appreciation week.. Turtle candy when our Trekin Turtle came out.. The little things that makes us feel important..

Thanks for the info on the "Friends of Bill W" It never explains what it is so unless you are a member of AA I guess you wouldn't really be expected to know.. I think that is really cool they offer that along with Church services on Sunday..

We ALL started to have errors and slooooooooooooooooooooooooow motion right around then too.. So you had a double whammy..

It is always slow around this time. My theory is that its because it's close to quitting time on the East Coast, and all those folks are tired of working. So they DIS until its time to go home.

I know MrsMork sent her request in first, but she may have just originally sent it for the group she's traveling with. I'm sorry if I missed you, when I sent out my post (around the August time frame). I feel terrible, but we can't add any more people at this point due to the room size. I don't know if there is more than one seating in the private room - I'd imagine there is, but if you can find 10 more people who'd like to try to get a group ressie with you then you could put in another request. We've had a few people join us within the past couple months or so who might be interested.

DH and I are IN!!! I have never done anything so impulsive in my life. We just returned from the 9/29 Eastern and I just could not resist when I saw the $599 bargain. We get to do it again! I am so excited!

Yahoo! Alex will be 9 in Dec. She loves all things sports, including the New England Patriots! I am working on learning about my new digital camera so I will post some pics at some point!

Did you tell DCL that she'll be celebrating a birthday? Also, if you let us know the date, Mommyoftwinfants can put it in the flyer she's doing for us.

Jasmine loves sports too, although her team is the Buffalo Bills. Does Alex play basketball? Jasmine loves shooting baskets up on deck 10.

Wow, thanks for all the welcomes! You quys are great!
My husband and I are both 55 yrs. old and are DCL addicts. This will be DLC cruise #13 for us. We are doing the WBPC in May. We wanted to go during the holiday one time to enjoy the decorations and holiday atmosphere. So when I saw this deal I just couldn't pass it up.

Our DD and two DGD's came with us last time and while we loved having them with us we came home exhausted. We really need a vacation from our vacation! DGD's are ages three and five and I babysit them full time while my daughter works. DH is a toolmaker and works way too much overtime to support our DCL addiction.

Please do add us to the master list of DISer's. We are in a gty. Cat 12.

Our last cruise was great! I was so happy that there is now a decent band on board. We have experienced too many terrible bands on DCL. We are not joiners in the nightclubs but we love to sit and listen and watch others. I would be happy to answer any particular questions about the cruise if I can.

My favorite thing to do on the cruise is sit outside Cove Cafe on deck 9 or in a lounge chair on deck 4 and just relax or read and watch the ocean.
