Bill, my mother's family were not huggers either. My dad's family was. If you got anywhere NEAR my dad's mom you knew you were gonna get hugged. I did manage to convert my mom's mom to a semi-hugger before she died. She came to spend a week with us in her later years and before she left she was hunting ME down to get that goodnight hug before she went to bed.
