My favorite TV show is reruns is

EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND

We watch those reruns too. Their dysfunctional family can make anyone feel good about their own family. I catch myself laughing outloud watching that show. We love the Dad (Frank). He is a hoot! I am half Italian. So, I can see some of the similarities in my grandparents. Older Italian-Americans are "characters" in themselves. My grandparents don't talk in a "normal" tone, they speak "loudly" even in every day conversation and everything does revolve around food. Bill was in for a treat the first trip we took to MA when he met "the family". They live outside of Boston. That meeting could have been an episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond".

I so need a vacation after having not had one for a year, and being a Disney freak, I am especially excited about this trip. With that said, I am making the following vow:

"I...Bill. Being of questionable sound mind , do hereby promise to not let outside obligations keep from posting on DIS and being excited about this trip. If I do allow myself to fall into that dark place again , I shall forfeit the that I achieved. This shall be enforced by my fellow DISers but more importantly...the boss (that would be you Jennifer).

We were talking last night about "needing" a vacation. We didn't go on our roadtrip to MA this summer. So, it has been almost a year since we have gotten away. That is another reason we are "seriously" looking into DVC. We plan to tour the AK Villas in December and if we are allowed to keep five people in the room, that may sell us on the whole deal. Bill looked at the "big picture" and if we did keep it past ten years, our monthly payments would go down dramatically. So, it would be a nice vacation investment. We plan to go back to WDW year after year. I am looking forward to going just Bill and I when the kids get older. Also, the other DVC properties looked interesting. Going to Honk Kong or Tokyo really sparked my interest.

Phew, I finally got caught up. Between the weekend and a bout with flu yesterday, I finally caught up. Hopefully I am through with sick for the rest of this year. Caught a cold on day 3 of my 11 day FL trip, then the flu after I am home.
You people are just too busy here.

I'm sorry you were sick. There is something going around. I know it is even worse when you are sick on vacation. Both you and Stacy were sick these past few weeks. I hope you got it out of your system. So, you can enjoy your December trip. Sending well wishes your way. . .

The kids and I were at Target today and picked up the Jungle Book on dvd. They've already watched it once. I am sure it will be viewed a few more times before the weeks end.

We got more "Disney Mail" today. We got a little packet from Disney Destinations, LLC for our upcoming December stay at the Wilderness Lodge. This is making the trip more and more real!

We have a great Disney Outlet at the Outlet Mall near us. I am like a kid in a candy store in there. It is fun!

It is nice having that list of people wanting to participate in the "Secret Mickey". The ages of the kids helps. We are travelling by car to port. So, I may have at least a small bag full of items for the giveaways. This is going to be fun! The other threads I read said, people had fun trying to get the items into the fish extenders without being caught. Our kids can't wait to sneak around the ship!

I may also print a "TAG, You're It!" stateroom door sign. Those seemed to be a hit on other cruises too. You put a list of cruisers on the back and forward the sign onto another stateroom. It should make it to all the staterooms by the end of the cruise. It should be fun if others are willing to forward the sign on. Just an idea.
