The cruise is getting close. But before we can cruise, we have a five day trip to Las Vegas, my birthday, Thanksgiving, and our daughter's birthday. I am glad I am a list maker.

I've added a new gallery on my website, with our trip to the pumpkin patch a few weeks back. Our oldest was over a friends house, but you can see our three sons, Zach, Ben, and Ryan.

I am not working today. I spent the first couple of hours of my day riding around Yamhill County with young men in big trucks! When I finally got home and told DrHug that he was WHAT?? Anyway, I hit something on the two lane road I take to get to work, blew my front right tire. The tow truck driver took me and my car to the Tire Factory in/on his big truck. The Tire Factory does not stock the size tires I have but can get them in by this afternoon. We had the same trouble getting our sliding doors replaced....not standard size, "sorry we can't put doors in for you". Wonder why it is that nothing we own is standard size. It was time to replace the two front anyway. So another nice young man brought me home in his really high off the ground pickup...and I tell you, this old lady had to grunt to get up into that thing, but I did NOT want the young man to try to boost this chubby butt up there so I managed! Both had country music going, so not really a bad way to spend an early Monday morning! So, looks like I will be able to help DrHug on our bathroom project today. We are putting in a new vanity, sink, faucet and medicine cabinet. I needed to get it painted so he can put those things in. We got the old stuff out yesterday and they new stuff put together. Always something!

I was there in September and the decorations were up then. Alot were up for the first night of the Halloween party. I think that is when they add them.

I have a trip to Atlantic City (three days of business, one day of pleasure), the holidays, of course, DS and DDIL's anniversary, DDIL's birthday and a major project due at work. We have four holidays, I have three vacation days in addition to that, so I'm actually running out of time!

Angie: Our house is full of non-standard sized things too. It's one of the "joys" of having an older home! Yes, it has some architectural interest. It's interesting trying to find replacement doors for my closets--I need doors that are 5'6" high. It's like my closets were designed by midgets!

No, not everyone! It seems to have become my goal not to get any pirates! I'm just never in the right place at the right time!

It hasn't snowed here yet, but it was really chilly this morning when I left the house, and it was still dark when I got up. I don't like this--I want to go on vacation NOW!

I can't beleive we're so close already. November 7th will be a year since we booked, and at the time didn't think it would ever come.

We gotcha beat. APRIL of '06!!!! A year and a HALF!!! It's hard to believe that it's SOOOO close!! And sad, too. We've been waiting for this and building it up and it's going to be over after just a week and a half. Not to mention, there might be other cruises but it won't be with the same people. (ok, not ALL of the same people.) We might get one or two if we're lucky, but still.....all we can do is wait.

I sure was! I decided to keep it simple and added the night of the 5th at SSR- rather than try to go down to see the shuttle.
