That's not too far from you is it? Is he a day pupil or does he board?
He boards - he's actually been at boarding school since he was 9!!! :scared1: He originally went to the same day school (prep dept.) as his brother and sister but, when Sophie left, he decided he didn't want to stay. He begged us to let him try boarding school :confused3 and the rest, as they say, is history...

Anyone use the Dining plan lately at WDW????

I used it the last two trips, We came out ahead but it is a lot of food, you need to figuer out the best way to use your table meals.

I don't know if its still as good with the changes they are making.
Now that Caitlin is over 10 and charged the adult prices, we may pass. No way she will eat all that food.

We have it for April and our trip this summer but just not sure if we should stay with it. Seemed like it was a GREAT deal before the changes.......

Toy Story - The Musical is coming to the Wonder in March. I'd love it if it showed on the Magic too.

V-e-r-y excited about this! :thumbsup2 Esp as DD and I will get to see it in May...

Anyone use the Dining plan lately at WDW????

Used it for the first time in October with DD - we received it for free as part of a YOAMD upgrade at the Yacht Club!!! :goodvibes We had no trouble using all the table service credits, but struggled with the counter service credits and used the snack credits for candy to bring home...

Decided to pay for it in December when I visited WDW with DS and we used it all as he used up two of the counter service options per day which meant breakfast and lunch were taken care of. Once again, used the snack credits for sweeties... ;)

Wouldn't bother again as I found there was just too much food - I didn't enjoy always focusing on the next meal... :sad2: The changes definitely make it less attractive IMO...

When we return as a family, I shall go back to using a DDE card...

That sounds like a good plan.

Yes - in August 2006, we were a party of 8 (6 adults plus 12 & 13 year olds) and it worked brilliantly for us... It's esp. worth it if you like to dine in the Signature restaurants... :cloud9:

And now I really should go and start getting ready for my regular Friday night 'date' with DH...

Thats what it all comes down to, you need to plan what to use where.
In 2006 we had both, depending on where we ate determined which we used. In 2006 we were still using the dde card we got in 2005 since it had not expired yet. It more than paid for itself those years
