Looks like the DVC planner that all of the points remained the same as last year..........

It has the changes to the Concierge Collection, but not the changes to World Passport (e.g. less than 7 day exchanges) - otherwise the same.

Just checked out the Concierge Collection the points seem to be higher....................

Awww Kristin, you can adopt me for free! And we could eat cookies together. :rotfl2:

We can eat cookies, swim in the pool and watch T.V.....:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh, and what about have a drink every now and then. What do you like????????????

About how far is it from Myrtle Beach?? How long did you stay at HH for????

I just looked at the new planner the points are not to bad either........................

We've been to HH several times, ranging from a 3 day New Year's Stay to week-long vacations. We've added the Charleston Place Hotel (Concierge Collection) two times as well. At first glance in the new planner I think that hotel has been eliminated - I'll have to go back and check.

It's about 200 miles from Myrtle Beach.

I noticed the hotel in NY, is more than last years toooo,,,,,

I wish it was a hard cover book like last year tooo....

I do like the way they ahve the drawings set up for each resort it gives you a better idea of how each is set up...Plus the little blurbs before you go into each new section is neat toooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely would stay there. I keep saying we've reached our max with points, but I've learned a long time ago to "never say never"....

I know DH said that too. He just tonight we will not go to the DVC on the cruise this time in Oct. we are not going to add on. That is what he said when we were at 250 points and we have added on three more times since then..

The deal on the cruise is too good to pass up............

I like the Nearby Ammenities too in the new planner book...................................

We had a soft cover book last year. Same type as the new one.

Years ago we had a great hard-cover, 3-ring binder. Still have it, too - it looks all beat up and nasty! The craziness with that is that DVC sent update pages throughout the year and you had to go in and replace pages in your binder.

Never had that one the binder.. But the hard cover book came to us after my parents joined on the cruise. It is more like a coffee table book really nice and I wanted one too...LOL!!!! SO I called my guide and asked to get one so I think that is why I got one....

Did you get the magnet too.....

Have you used points for the cruise toooo>?????????????.........>

We thats to be expected, after all they want you to stay onsite and keep spending your money on Disney.:rotfl:

They make out pretty good when you trade out, too. That week or whatever gets rented out - we've all seen the cash prices for DVC accommodations!

You're right though - they love to keep everyone on property (e.g. DDP). DVC members are a captive audience as well. Just check your resort invoices! I've read where people go and stay at DVC resorts and have a zero balance or something else absurdly low. I guess in theory that's possible, but not for us.

OK so he won't go in Oct, but I want to go on this cruise! So tell him you are just going with me. ;)

Yup got the magnet.

For the cruises we've been on, all but one have been cash. They used to run DCL points "specials" during September in the past, but I haven't seen that in awhile. The first DVC Member Cruise we used points. This was the member cruise that they didn't charter the whole ship. I guess they were testing the waters so to speak. It was billed as the DVC 10th Anniversary Cruise. It was a mix of DVCers and regular cruisers - though DVC dominated the ship. We have a great picture of a giant "10" the members formed on the beach at CC!

Anyway.... the points for that cruise were discounted and it was in April (instead of the recent DVC Member Cruises were are like the 1st week of school).
