I'm sure there are some drugs, but I am not at that point yet where I feel I need them. As for therapy, my walking is the best thing I can do
They say that will help stabilize the knee Well after 10 years I can say that hasn't helped much. It is what it is, Bottom line, I need to lose more weight.

You can do it!!!

It's a really tough issue tho', I know. My DSIL is rather overweight, has a knee problem due to a fall and now (at age 48) walks with a stick. To help the knee problem, she needs to exercise to lose the weight but can't walk much because of the knee - I really don't know what she's going to do, TBH...

and managed to clock up 25000 steps on the treadmill!!!

Can you please tell me how to even get 10 steps on the treadmill....I hate it...But I need very bad!!!

Thanx Nikki!!! I spoke to my DD about our trip this afternoon and I was so over-excited!!! And I had to keep my mouth well and truly under control - and that ain't easy...

Can't wait to buy our tickets for that - I'm ready!!! That morning we're doing the Adventure Segway Tour at Fort Wilderness and I've got an ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern at 5.40pm for an early dinner before the event...

Good Morning , Abby, Harry, Karen again

Well it's another one of those cold mornings, and my joints are feeling it.

My leg is, for lack of a better way to describe it. Tired.
It doesn't really hurt, but at the same time feeling a little weak. This is the one that has bothered me on and off since 1998.

Last week it tried to buckle and then gotten swollen, now its back to its normal size, but the tendons and mussel's are still a little soar.

Both knees have a touch of arthritis, but this is more advanced than the other one. Ohh its a b*tch getting older

No cane yet, but I thought about it, the Dr said maybe I should, but its up to me.

I'm all organised!! DH is added to all ADRs plus I've upgraded our stateroom on the Wonder so that'll be a surprise for both of them!!! As an extra, I've booked the three of us on the Wilderness Back Trail Segway Adventure!!! Sophie and I did the Around the World on a Segway tour at EPCOT last year and loved it so I'm glad DH will experience the magic of the Segway too... I've also sorted DH's flights - even managed to get him sitting next to me on the return leg!!!

All in all, it's been an excellent day...

Sounds productive!!!

We-ell, I've worked out that I can do 10,000 steps per hour so I split it up into manageable chunks. I have a three hour playlist on my iPod/SoundDock with all my fave tunes on it so I just get on, crank up the volume and sing along... It's a habit now and I enjoy the time - I've found I do a lot of thinking whilst walking...

Yeah, I'm wondering if there will be a DVC discount. There are rumors that the dates will be coming out in the next few days. I'm waiting impatiently!

I've got my fingers well and truly crossed for the DVC discount!!! I got 15% off the Segway tour which was a bonus!!!

Well, you start out slow, about 2.5 mph ( about slowest you can go unless its off), don't do any elevation, and walk. First left foot, then right, unless you want to start right foot , then left


I know what a pain it came be, I was doing about 45 mins @ 4 mph before I hurt myself, now I just don't feel like getting on the machine again.

Yeah, no dates for April or May yet, or at least May.

Is there anything that can be done to help your knees? Please warn us if you do get a cane so we know not to make you mad!
