We had a fish tank for a while, but with vacations and all it became too big of a problem

We had a Beta for a while but then he got Beta bloat so I flushed him. I couldn't stand to see him suffering any longer!! Now I'm thinking of a rodent but not sure if I want the added responsibility since it would be my responsibility to clean up after it. The four responsibilities I already have give me enough to clean up as it is!!

Same here... When everyone's home I seem to end up cooking all day long! Oh well, just got the main meal to do for DH and I then that's it for me - I'm throwing down my oven gloves!!!

That's funny! Can you clarify "standard issue" - is that like Victoria Beckham, Coleen McLoughlin or a step up or down?

Just returned from the gym and will probably bounce around the house and watch some football. DW is threatening to take me out somewhere though - that can't be good...

Sunday's at the gym are interesting... lots of seniors during the day. I don't have anything against old people working out, I actually worked on a project where Medicare members receive free gym memberships, but I have only two words (and they don't go together) - naked & ninety! Old men just seem to love to peeter around the locker room butt-naked. Words can't describe it, but I'll be haunted with certain images all day!

We-ell, a step down. Feeling somewhat 'witchy with a b' for saying this, but those two ladies are way more individual than the average footballing partner I've encountered in the gym/local restaurants. They all seem to be clones!!! Think 'fembots' with poker-straight, fake hair, fake nails, fake tan, fake everything...

There are groups of young girls who think the way to fame and fortune is to ensnare a footballer - I guess the same is true everywhere in the world, after all there are quite a few professional single sportsmen out there who earn more in a week than most folk in a year...

I see some pretty scary images when I visit the gym during the mid-week off-peak hours - all I'm saying is that 'saggy' is not a lifestyle choice that will feature in my future...

Great, We are planning on coming and staying in the city the weekend of Mother's Day too. We will be there for the twins' Birthday in a few weeks but were just poppin in to do the AG thing eating at Tony's then headin home.. But May we will be down for the entire weekend. Unless, you had plans to go in sooner?? I think our girls are going to get along just GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since NYC is only about an hour away for us - we just pick-up and go, so at the moment no plans are on the books.

DH has decided to clean out our 55 Fish Tank today and then take the kids to the pet store to buy some more fish. Our HUGE fish has decided that he is hungry and has been eating all of his friends in the tank!!!!!!!!

My roommates and I had an Oscar in college.... the highlight of some nights was dropping in some other fish for feeding.... Gross - I know....

I saw that picture in our Sunday paper as well, she sure looked happier as the old "Spice Girl". She has said she would never smile in pics again, I think her face is just frozen in place!! LOL

Oh absolutely!!!! I guess she's just spent much more money on the ...er... enhancements than your average soccer spouse...

I can totally relate the last time I was in the hospital for a collapased lung. The elderly women next to me went crazy from being there too long and threatened to pull out the tube that was in my chest it was conncected to a thing that sounded like a fish tank. It was actually very soothing and drowned out the other noises on the floor. But she hated it and got up out of bed which she was not supposed to do and her johnny fell off it was an ugly scene.. The hosp. staff was worried that I was tramatized for almost being killed..Heck, I was more tramatized from seeing an old women naked....LOL!!!!!!!!
