Ed-

So glad Caitlin was feeling well enough to go to the movie! Gwynne keeps running a fever, but she is fine with the Motrin.

AAAWWWWW!!!! ok my new fav commercial of the superbowl was the disney commercial for the movie Wall-e. that was the cutest commercial i have ever seen this whole day LOL

I did go to a Tom Petty concert in the early 90's, but that was during my partying days when I thought he was good. :rotfl2: I can't for the life of me figure out why they had him for half-time. My 15 year old niece and 70 year old mil both had no clue who he was.

I am missing most of everything Super Bowl because I've been playing cards with the kids.

Because he was "safe"! Hardly entertaining though.... how much did they pay those kids (young adults) do go running up to the stage like that?!? I have nothing against him (they actually played several songs I like), but I wonder who they were targeting for an audience - certainly not Samantha's demographic.

HI all,

How is everyone just getting home. We went to the Hannah Montana movie this afternoon and then to Bruce's cousins for a Super Bowl Party.. I'm beat...How is everyone????

Hello FOotball Fans!

Just swinging through to say "hello"... we went up to the snow yesterday - only the 3rd or 4th time I have ever gone sledding - even though I've skiied countless times in the past 4+ decades of my existance.

We had great fun - it felt beautiful like we were in another world with 3-4' of snow up near Gorman Pass (we were at Mt. Pinos). We brought up one of the girls' friends who's from Hawaii and it was only her 2nd time ever in the snow. It was a blast!

Then afterewards, we took our supper at Bucca de Beppo (is that how its' spelled). That was fun too - as we took a nice long time to dine and go back over the pictures and movies we shot during the day.

At any rate - adios fer now. I'll glance backwards through the thread to sort of follow some of the latest news and antics. maybe even post a little more before I move on to other things.

Hope all are doing well...

Cheers!

Good to hear from you. Sounds, like you had FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, my gosh I can not stop laughing......!!!!!!!!!!

Abby,

We are in a similar circumstance at our home. My spouse grumps about the dog hair = we have a 110+ pound fluffy white Samoyed (sample pix above). We've had this breed in our family for 20++ years now so you'd figure she'd be more tolerant - however Sugar is an extra fluffy one!

My spouse laments that when Sugar moves on (one way or another) we're gonna switch to a non-shedding breed... now... do those exist? < chuckles > :confused3

I love this dog!!!! Soo cute!!!!!!!!!!

I was just reading through all of the past 2 days posts, I hope everyone and their families are going to be OK- everyone keeps on getting sick.

Harry-

I don't blame you for being ticked off about it, especially so last minute. It sounds like you are really good at coaching and the kids like you though! How could they not!! I could totally understand needing to take a break though. Around here it is always the same people coaching. I figure they must get tired of it. Especially if they are coaching any of my kids' teams, who are always losing teams. Last year we half expected Gwynne's soccer coach to have a heart attack, he'd get so worked up!! But boy was he great with the kids!

Thanks! I only get worked up in practice.... during the game I don't say much, except when the kids come off the field... too many coaches today yell and scream the entire game... all that does is take away opportunities for the kids to make their own decisions (which is critical that they develop this skill)
