Good Morning ! Happy to report we got almost what we wanted.Choc Museum unavailable We'll go on our own,just can't do the workshop w/o 15 people. But we're happy :

I too was online at 3AM and we got everything we wanted as far as excursions with the exception of VIP Pisa. I had a second choice and went with that. We also got Palo brunch, high tea, and dinner. It was much easier this time around with two cabins linked because I just had to pull up one reservation and it brought up all the people in both cabins to book everything so I didn't have to bounce back and forth like I have in the past. I signed on at 2:55, was done by 3:10, and back to bed by 3:15. At least I didn't miss much sleep.

I will update the list tonight.

I just checked and the VIP excursions are not available and a few in Barcelona, but none of these were available when I got on line at 3AM. There are also no Palo brunch reservations left. I wouldn't worry about Palo because they do hold some slots you can book when you get on the ship. I would just do this right away if you want them.

Also - is PISA VIP the only one where you go UP in the tower?

Is the "plain" PISA tour the only other where you go to that square & atleast look UP at the tower?

In Marseille, is there only one Calanques tour?

I was able to get all our 1st choices for excursions:
Barcelona:Flamenco and Tapas in a Spanish Village
Sicily: Cefalu and the Marionette Show
Sardinia: Train to Gallura
Naples: Herculaneum
Rome: Italian Countryside and the Catacombs
Florence: On Our Own
Marseille:Arles and Olive Oil Mills of Les Baux
Villyfrance: Cannes, Grasse and St. Paul

I liked the way they linked my cabin with my in-laws so I could take care of all 7 of us at one time instead of bouncing from one ressie to the other! Thank you Disney!

I was bummed that I could not get a Palo brunch. The dinners weren't our first choices but I made them. Hopefully, I can change them when I get on board. After I made my Palo reservations I went to the spa but I could not add anything to my ressie. Disney's site kept saying that they could not retrieve my ressie. But when I awoke this morning, I was able to get all my spa appointments. Not my ideal times but they were still available.
We will see everyone in 90 days. No, we are not excited!

Catjammies...the only difference between the beaches in Olbia, as far as I could see, was a whole lot of money !!! So we went with the cheap one.As the early Med cruisers come back and give us their reports, I may cancel my La Cinta ,Olbia beach excursion if it looks like it's easy to do own our own. Just thought I'd book it for "insurance".

Not sure about Montsurrat. Just give DCL a call 1-800-951-3532.

I called them this am to check about the Choc Museum tour,which has been cancelled ( along with others, he said ) Are you going to be in Barcelona before the cruise. You are welcome to go with us. We're planning to go by train on Mon ,Aug 6. We lived in Japan for 3 years and my husband is great about getting around.

Momma... just got through booking St Paul, Grasse, Cannes ; at first I hadn't planned on booking anything in Villefrance, cause it would be easy to get to Nice, Monaco.But I kept thinking about all the wonderful reviews of St Paul and couldn't resist !

I picked La Cinta only because it cost less! I'm hoping to go to a beach on my own and cancel my DCL excursion after I hear feedback from previous cruisers.

We were in St Paul last year when we took a Globus tour of Europe. We were only there about 45 minutes but it is a beautiful quaint town. We purchased provencal herbs there and have been using them in many dishes.

We are planning on the full day Montserret but I am waiting on the Barcelona tour vendor to get back to me with days and prices. The number and email are listed on Disney's website for those of us who may be in Barcelona before or after the cruise. Perhaps they will be offering the halfday as well.
