I lovd the Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer too but was bummed that the contestants were chosen randomly... boo :( I would have wanted to play but my number never came up.

Re: adult entertainment  you can try the new spa villas on the Magic. They are pretty darn awesome - couples treatments with a private verandah with a double chaise lounge and a hot tub on the balcony. Sooooo nice. They have redone the spa area quite nicely. Palo's of course is always good as well.

Anyway - we're booked in connecting Cat 7's with DD (5) and DS (2), and my in-laws. My parents are booked in a Cat 6 and our friends are booked in a Cat. 8 I think (4 of them). It will be fun because our parents will be celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary (8/6) and my in laws will be celebrating their 40th anniversary (8/7) and my DD will be celebrating her 5th birthday on 8/12! What fun! :bday: I think I had McDonald's for my 5th birthday. She'll be in Europe for hers. My how times have changed.

We have late seating too - we used to always get early seating because I liked seeing the show after dinner, but with kids (and also being from the west coast) the late seating worked better for us since it was not as rushed to get out (for the next seating), and we didn't have to rush back from the shore excursions or afternoon activities to make it to dinner. Also, on sea days sometimes they have matinee shows so some of us would see the show at 2pm, some would see the 6:30pm show while alternating babysitting duty and then we'd all have dinner at 8pm. It worked out quite well.

Hello Wendyo,

Our DS will be 5 as well on 08/12 on the Magic, and we have late seating too...who knows we'll be meeting there...??

Welcome Meg'n'walt!
If you look on the first page, you'll find a list of cruisers so far, their dining, and category.
Who is cruising with you? Hope you find useful info here.

Hello everyone! Just got off the Magic on Saturday and now back to work!

We have Early seating and are in stateroom 2034.

I'm wondering about airfare. Anyone get a quote from DCL yet? Any idea how much other cruiselines charge?

Any info about Barcelona hotels?

For our repo back home (to Florida) last year we had a name (Ship of Fools), lanyards, nametags, custom pins, t-shirts, hats, etc. It was alot of fun!

This is the response from my TA when I asked about airfare.

"Its a little to early to look at air pricing. Air pricing does not
come out till 330 days before travel. You may look on your own on the
internet that has specials some time then give us a call and ask for a air
agent to give you a quote. Disney will have transfer to and from the
port at a charge of 50.00 per person round trip. Thank you"

So in another 3 months there should be pricing for that time. :hourglass :surfweb:

Hey everyone! Since we are here and we are going to be there! I say we put atleast one picture of our family on here in the signature so we know what to look for. Like my signature. The last cruise I went on we did the same thing on the board. Lets all :grouphug: get together! :thumbsup2

I was just sifting through some pics, and saw this one, it's not often at ALL that you can stand in front of the castle with NO ONE ELSE in the pic. Thats what happens when a hurricane passes through and you're right behind it.

OK, try this.
I had used this to post pic's from our West Coast Magic cruise. Another poster had walked me thru the steps:

"You need to upload your pictures to a site such as Photobucket (http://photobucket.com), Webshots (http://webshots.com), or any of the other online places that allows one to share their digital photos with other people. I believe that one can even use Walmart or Costco. The basic service, which is free, allows you to upload many photos. There is a premium service for a nominal fee that I believe provides one with unlimited uploads. Not certain of the number of photos for the basic service as that is dependent upon the actual size of the photos. Right now I have about 125 in Photobucket. Then you can invite others to come and view the pictures as well as linking them to forums or to emails.

Once you have done this, you copy the link (url) of the specific location of where the photo resides. Photobucket has the URL below the photo. Then when you post a reply on the thread, there is an icon that is YELLOW and BLACK that looks like a mountain and a sun. You click that and paste the link that you previously copied into the space provided. Preview the post before submitting to make certain that the picture that you wanted to show is the one that is there."

Oops, I think I goofed. The previous post was to post pics to the thread, not to your signature. I have a friend who made me my pooh pic & sig, and she sent me the image link.

I think it's a great idea to post pictures as a signature.
Hey James!! How'd you do it? :confused3

You need to upload your pictures to a site such as Photobucket (http://photobucket.com), Webshots (http://webshots.com), or any of the other online places that allows one to share their digital photos with other people. Photobucket is REALLY easy to set up and get going!

After you do that:

Step 2: Click on "User CP" (top left) on the Dis Board.
Step 3: Click on "Edit Signature" (left hand side)
Step 4: (At photobucket) Copy the "Img" link below the picture AFTER you upload the picture. There is a "Url" "Tag" and "Img" below the pic. For The Dis Board, you copy the "Img".
Step 5: Paste the "Img" into your signature anywhere you want. Where you paste it is where it will be in your signature.

What you will copy will look something like this:
"
Sample.jpg"
"
But without the quotes around the IMG tag

Then you get this (without the quotes):

I hope this helps, if not let me know. :thumbsup2

Thanks a lot for the info, James ... it really works ! I have just one more question...All of my pics seem to be a bit to big to use as a signaturephoto..how can I make them smaller ? Thanks a lot in advance !

Thanks for the warm welcome...I forgot to mention we have a cat 9...
A soon as I get my pics a bit smaller, I will post a pic of our family too !
Thats a great idea..so we can get together on board..! Did it too on our last cruise back in 2000..!
