I've been busy and not on Dis much this week. Not much new stuff going on here.

I got a large water bottle and the kids are saving change and stuff in it for the cruise. They are very excited about helping out! Its really cute.

Anybody else doing anything special to save money to help cover this adventure??

I think I'm looking more forward to Rome, Pompeii and Pisa. There's too much to see and do everywhere though. It's going to be hard to decide on that "got to do" excursion for each port!

I took some French in school, I might be able to get by with the basics and a French-English dictionary!!

That is how we are saving some cash for the trip. I work at an animal shelter helping get animals out to good homes. I also have a business on the side. My wife works at a vet clinic as an RVT (registered vet tech) and does pet sitting on the side.

FYI for everyone, ticket prices for airlines is going up a lot from what I was told by my TA. So hopefully that won't put a huge dent in anyones wallet. I had to rush over $2K for airfare for my upcoming trip to tahiti because it would have gone up to $3K by this month. Because of fuel prices.

Speaking of Fuel prices, how much is that putting a cramp in your wallet. I have to pay $3.25 a gallon right now.

So big news over here! My father in law is going to join us on this big boat! The category 9's on deck 2 (where we will be) are all sold out, so I'm still in talks with our TA as to where he will be staying......Still, we are excited that he is planning to come with us!

Still waiting to see if there will be a pirate night!

My wife speaks Hungarian, which her family is native to.

My husband would be responding in french if he were on here - he is a little rusty. My son is 7 and has Spanish class in school every day. I don't know that he is going to be that much help on this trip, though! My FIL has some Russian I know and I am not sure beyond that. Me, just a very rusty BA in Latin, which, I know, if we were traveling the Mediterranean 2000 years ago would have come in a LOT more handy than it will on this trip!
