40Mom- you will find out your dinner rotation when you check in and get your key to the world card. It will be listed on it or at least the initials we all use will be on there. So you can figure out what one you have.

We have some great news!!! We got upgraded to a category 7. We are going to be in #5634 with a verandah. It is a navigator's verandah, but I don't care. I have never had one before. I have always had an inside room.

AirTran airline also changed my nonstop flight. They canceled it. Now I have to go through ATlanta. The good news is that my college roomie who is going with me on the cruise is also going through Atlanta. We are now on the same flight into Orlando. They upgraded us to business class since I am not on a nonstop flight now. We get in at 10:40am on Sat. of the cruise. Usually I come in the night before, but since my family is not coming with me, I decided to come in the day of. I know I will be so tired Sat. night, but oh well. We are going to get our luggage and then tag it for the Disney transfers. That way we know if it comes in or not. I figure we should be at port at about 1pm at the latest. I would like to be there sooner, but at least I will be there. My family and friends are so jealous that I am coming at all. We are getting so excited!!!!

We also have early seating. Is there a way to find out what your rotation is before we get on the cruise?

For those DISer's on deck 6, we are in room 6562. This is definitely the DIS deck

As for school my girls have 6 days left and I can't wait. I am not a teacher but I am sure tired of doing homework. We are either helping with homework, checking homework, or asking them if they have homework. I need a break

DDD - Keep up the great work!!!! I also plan on enjoying the food on the cruise so by losing now I will have room for all that good food

Yeah!!! Schools out!!! Wouldn't you know, my oldest DD got sick this afternoon. She has a fever and I just put her to bed. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug.

Dipdotdarlin' (love your name) - I can't believe that they cancelled your flight. I'm going to have to go and check my reservation now. I booked with Delta. They have changed our return flight time 3 times. Hopefully they don't cancel it!

Guess what I did with my documents?
Threw them away!!!

After just putting Bouncer to sleep, and graduation, college orientation and my younger son still in school, I had them on the table with mountains of other things and then when I went to look for them they were gone! i searched the whole house and finally looked outside in the garbage and there they were. I have a few personal issues going on and I guess i was too distracted--luckily i was able to salvage them. My mom still does not have hers and she booked through the same TA we did.

Dipdot-I would be going crazy if they cancelled my flight.

Carole-We booked with Delta and they have changed ours at least 3 times, going and coming. I'm waiting to print out the tickets since they've changed so much!

BethA-I know exactly how you feel with throwing something out! I do it all the time when I'm tired or have too much going on. It's to the point when something is missing I say "I didn't throw it out!" because that has actually happened a number of times.

Oh my goodnes! I can't even imagine. I would be going crazy. Thank Heavens you found them. We don't have ours yet, our TA sent them out and we should be expecting them any day now. I can't wait!

Marie-we requested the 6 for main seating as well. We had it at one time on our ressie and then they changed it back to main seating, so I think I'll call and check!!! I've got a my list of things to remember to do before we leave in 2 weeks (flight is Thursday!!).

what time did you ask Art's to pick you up? We requested 9. Of course they tried to tell me this was too early, but I know from my dis friends that we will be allowed to go in at 10!!! You get a #1 boarding card right? I'm trying for #2!!

If I do get that dinner time and anyone wants my character bk tickets, let me know cause we don't use them.

We requested 9:00 also, because they said it takes 1.5 hours to get to the port. We want to get there early to check in and meet you in case we don't see you on Friday! We have a concierge suite, so I am not worried about a boarding card, but I know we will be excited to get to the port.

They canceled my nonstop fligiht, but it worked out well. Now I can fly in with my college roomie who will be cruisen with me. We will get in the same time and get to start catching up earlier than planned. The best thing is that we will be in business/first class all the way.

My user name of ditdotdarlin' comes from my painting group. I am a tole and decorative painter as a hobby. We have a group that have painted over 20 years together. Our group name is the dip dot darlin's. Our motto is "We may not have it all together, but together, we have it ALL!!" That would be a great motto for our dis group too. I love to paint and plan to teach painting classes and design projects when I retire!

Carole88 that would be a great idea to start a thread for the girls. My DD (8) is e-mailing your DD and two other girls and she would like to get to know the other girls as well but with girl scouts, soccer and homework, she was feeling a little overwhelmed a didn't have the time to e-mail everyone.

We are on deck 2. I wonder how much it would be to upgrade at the terminal, if at all possible.

That said, if we do this, parents need to make sure that their kids don't put out any personal information. I work in Internet Security and it is important for children not to give away too much information when using the web, as it is available to everyone. For example, I put my real name at the bottom of my messages as I see other people have done. Children should use their board names at all times when posting.

I am very disappointed that DCL would schedule a character breakfast on CC day. Are they


Princess - Sending some your way that you can find a job. It is very competitive in my area as well. My SIL is a teacher. I wish they were going w/ us - she would fit right in!

You are not the only one that accidently throws things away - I have done that before, more than once.

Susan - I totally agree with you and share your concerns regarding children giving too much information out when using the web. I think they should always use their screen names and shouldn't give out cabin numbers either. For those that are emailing eachother, they could email their screen name if they wanted, or they could wait until meeting in person to reveal their identity.

I am going to start a thread for all of the tweens. It's open to both girls and boys. Please remind your children to use screen names only and no cabin numbers. Hope they have fun with this.
