Well, I've caught a cold or some virus and have a fever and cough so it is off to bed. Better that I caught it now then in a couple of weeks when we would be leaving for WDW!!!

We are at the parks the week before the cruise, hopefully I can pick up some sun there. But we have had wonderful weather in Minnesota this week!

Hi to everyone else going on 6/24 !!

I have been peeking at these forums since we booked 400 days ago, but I never saw anyone mention this cruise.. but NOW!!! I feel like this!!

9 more days of school in Oregon for both me and DH (does this mean darling husband?) and CRUISE TIME (yes, we are both teachers, and glad to see other teachers on this trip!)

What does dd mean? We have one 10 year old girl and one 8 year old girl, but I dont know if they are dds? I feel like such a novice at this!

Will be going swimming with the dolphins in Costa Maya, anyone else?? I have not heard too much about this excursion...anyone done this?? was it fun??

Anyone else from Oregon... it has been a RAINY winter... can hardly wait for some SUNSHINE!!

We are on deck 7, with Verandah... Safe for the kids?? Anything I should know!? I CAN'T WAIT to be boarding the Magic!! See you all then!

(I keep checking the mail everyday for our documents )

Oregonmouse - we are on deck 7 as well. 7562 if I remember correctly I think the majority of the posters to this thread are going to the Majahual beach @ Costa Maya. Everyday I hurry to check and see if we got anything from Disney...today we got magical express stuff, but no cruise docs. DH does mean dear husband - unless you ask my husband and he is conviced that it is dumb husband

Charla-He thought the ship would be bigger, how much bigger does it need to be!!

He was comparing it to the drag strip (1320 ft) he thought it would be at least that long It will be interesting to see what he has to say when we are actually on board

Lorie, I will be in your area on buisness at a meeting. Arriving Wednesday and leaving Friday, in and out pretty quick.

Charla, last year when we came across the bridge to the port and got the first glimpse of the Disney Wonder , my sons both said we did not think it would be that big. Maybe when he gets a look at it live it will suprise him.

It looks like several of us will be on deck 7, maybe it should be renames the DIS deck.

I am looking every day for our documents

My DW has 4 days of school left, but only 2 are with kids

In a mere 19 days I will be with my DW and my 2 DSs and be on my way to DW and the DC where we visit some great beaches

Welcome aboard Mmouse1964 and Oregonmouse - I have two DDs. One is 9 and the other is 12. They have also been emailing other girls going on the cruise. Drop me a pm if they are interested. Are either of you staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise? If so a bunch of us are going to try and get together by the pool in the afternoon. We will probably be there between 2 and 2:30 and spend the afternoon. If you're staying there, join us!

disgal1 - I'm very sorry to hear about your mom. I know that it is a very hard time. We lost my mom last September.

bairdbeth - Hope you're feeling better soon. I hate being sick in the summer.

Going shopping tomorrow. Hopefully I will get everything I need!

I'm not sure of the Rad. party at the port hotel.
Sat. 6-24 Look for lime green within the terminal, I'll be in Green glasses.

Also Sat. 6-24 Deck party 4:30 after the safety drill Deck 10 port side.

CC day 1-Lunch at Cookies around 12.

CM day- Maj. Beach A bunch are meeting for bk or soon after, I don't think a set time yet. Meet us there if your a late riser!

disgal1, sorry to hear about your mom. Hopefully you will be able to relax on the cruise, I am sure it has been stressful. DD17 is the same age as your son and she is outgoing, so she can help him meet people if he is worried about his brother not being on the cruise. DS14 is always there for some basketball, ping pong or arcade games!

Maybe we will see you at WDW…we are at SSR from June 18-24!

HI, thanks for the kind words from everyone, things are better day by day.

We are DVC owners at SSR but haven't been there yet...hope you have a great time there! We will be at BCV June21-24 in a 2 bedroom Can;'t wait!!

Luckily, we will be traveling to wdw with 2 other couples, plus my 2 sisters and their families :grouphug only one of the other couples will be going on the cruise with us, and they have 2 boys close to DS age. that will help alot. That is great that you have a DD the same age, I'm sure all the kids that age will hang together! this is our 3rd disney cruise, but the ship has changed since our last one, they can't wait to see the new stuff.

Bairdbeth, I remember to look for you on the David and Ivan tour!

I have found the best t shirt bra I have ever worn for all you fellow full figured gals...it's called modern movement found at Dillards. I have tried every Oprah bra and spent so much money, and this one is the best!! 36$ and so comfy. plus no "headlights" I am so glad I found it before the cruise, in that heat all I want to wear is thin tank tops and t shirts... I 'm going back today for a black one for my dresses.

Of course I have way overpacked, but we will be gone 13 days,and I can't seem to figure out what to leave out!!

Also, found the best little cheap skorts at walmart yesterday, just the right length, stretch, lightweight. I bought one , but I think I'll get a white one today if there are any left. Looks like it will wrinkle like crazy, but who cares,

My kids (DD16,DD13,a nd DS19) Think I'm crazy spending so much time on this board But it's been so wonderful and I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left!
I have 13 more teaching days left and 1 teacher workshop to go!
We have decided to book the San Fransico Beach AI for Coz. They have a cat snorkeling tour from the beach! I read great recent reviews about this beach
Can't wait to read reports from first DD group.
