Hey everyone, I just read on another thread that people sailing on the June 18 Wonder cruise received their documents today. Ours should be here any time soon!

Would love to hear what others are doing for door magnets. I looked at a thread on these boards and just about dropped. I'm not sure I'll be able to do anything quite that fancy!!

Today is the last day of school. I have some VERY happy kids!

I have been reading the live double dip reports and have found out when formal, semi-formal and Pirate nights will be. I asked about the Fury Catamaran excursion on Cozumel and the Majahaul beach on Costa Maya, but have not heard anything about either. They may not have gone on those activities and don't know. The Passporter book did rate the Fury Catamaran Sail and Snorkel really high. I just love lots of details- that is why I read the disboards.

I love reading the live double dip reports!
We are bringing pillowcases and markers. We did it on the Wonder and they turned out great!
I can't believe it is June already! I booked at 625 days out. It seemed that June 2006 would never come!
For magnets, I have made a Welcome Aboard one that I modified from one Verandah Man did I also have one to represent our sea days which has Mickey and Minnie at the wheel. For CC days I have a scuba Minnie. For Costa Maya it is a picture of the ruins and for Cozumel it is one with pictures of mini-golf, Hard rock Cafe and the Mickey Pool. I still need to figure out a DIS one?

Yes I have been reading the report as well. My boss is also on that cruise so I will get a report from him when he gets back. I will try to keep him talking about it until our cruise so I won't have to do any work until I get back!!

cykojoe, if he loves the trip, you won't have to work until days after YOU return. I was talking about the cruise to someone when I realized I'd been going on and on about it. I looked at the gal I was talking to and said, "Gee, do you think I'm excited to go?"

Marie-I don't know if I've asked before, but what was the date of your eastern cruise back in 2004?

BB-I was right there with you at 625 days out. I was originally scheduled for the Eastern before ours, but changed it. Whenever I mention the cruise, I always add that I've been counting down from 625 days out! They just don't get it!

Hi Dipdotdarlin' - Welcome aboard! We did the Fury Catamaran on our first cruise. It was our favorite excursion. You will have a lot of fun!

I'm envious of all of you who are done with school. We still have one more week to go.

Wow! Long time since I've been on the boards. Lots to catch up on. I was just on the May Double Dip board and they said that they had shown the preview of the Pirates of the Caribbean II movie! How wonderful!!! I know this was a topic a few pages before. They also showed the screening of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I saw this on the live report from the Double Scoop group:
First a piece of news for those of you doing a double scoop cruise. They are having special t-shirts and tote bags. Saw a sign up at Mickey's Mates. They will only be available tomorrow on Castaway Cay. Can't remember the prices but they are the same design as on the embarkation photo saying Twice The Magic.

I'm sure will be getting some interesting info after Sat. when the current (almost done!) double dippers start posting regular reports. Thank goodness I'm pretty much done with school work! I need time to read for our cruise!

We watched the Travel Channel and to offer a different perspective, my DD (10) said, This is going to be the biggest thing I've ever seen in my whole life Also have to admit that I've been saying Castaway KAY and not Castaway KEY DD was happy to correct me after seeing the special

I have been reading the live reports from May 27th and am realizing how FAST it seems to be going. Oh, I hope it doesn't go quite that fast when we're there!!!

I live in a small town and so am making the mecca to the Mall of America and Home Depot (Disney paint chips!) for a bit more cruise shopping this weekend

I've seen a couple of posts in different threads about photos from shutters. What can you tell me about those? Expensive? Not to be missed?

40Mom, We did the 7 day Eastern at spring break this year. The photo at shutters are usually very good. They have packages where you can get a certain number at very slightly discounted price. They give you a card and mark how many you have taken and you just have them mark it each time you take more. When the card is filled, you may trade in ones that you have already bought for one that you like better. The 6x8" size are about $10 each and the 8x10" are $20 each, priced separately. I can't remember exactly what the prices are and I am at school, so I can't check right now. It is kind of like buying a certain number and getting one free. They are really good about letting you exchange until you have the ones you want, especially at the end of the cruise when you have so many to choose from. I would check each day and stack all of ours together that I was interested in buying. I would take the ones I knew I wanted and leave the others stacked together. Each day they are taken down, so they are in a new place the next day. But I always found them stacked altogether. By the end of the cruise I had about 8 8x10's I bought and 3-4 small ones. I love the pictures and have my family trained to take them each night, sometimes more than once. I spend all my money in Shutters, but I have great pictures to go with my memories. I especially love the lifestyle pictures with the white background. I know you will too.

I received our costumes Yesterday! The pirate family They are great! Do I need to get eye patches or do we get them??

Two more weeks and I will be on the cruise.... Fantasy cruise...I am planning on making June 17 weekend a packing weeking that way I feel like we are almost there!!!!
I can't wait to pack!
One question, do the bathroom doors have hooks to hang up the towels to try??? I was thinking that would be perfect place for shoe hanger.

I really feel like I can go to this cruise with a good idea of what I'm going to be spending. And, yes, I know I should plan double what I think I'm going to spend But it's better to have at least a little bit of an idea!

Maybe I'll wait to let hubby know all the details Just kidding hon!!

I spoke with Shirley yeaterday from the Perfect Gift and ordered a basket/tote for my DD to be waiting on us when we get there! Shirley is so nice! I can't wait to see this creation! The last one we got was "Wonder"ful! One more thing checked off of my to do list!
We leave 2 weeks from Monday so it is time to start real packing!
Don't want to do too much so I guess I will just overpack!
