What time is your parasailing scheduled? My DS and I are going on the 2nd stop too. We are booked at 3:30....I don't know about you but I'm nervous about going, but excited too!

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone. We are not out of school yet. We have 3 days this week and Monday of next week with the kids. Teachers have a day on Tues. and then that is it. Yeah!!! I can't wait to cruise.

I think someone already asked this question. My DH is thinking about renting the tux. How many are thinking or will be renting tux on cruise? I think he is worried he will be the only one????

One more question, where do you find the ratings for the excursions. I signed up for the catamaran, snorkel sail thing. Someone mentioned it only got rated 4 out of 10 stars. We had wanted to do the stingray thing, but it looked to be booked. Am I missing the boat (no pun intended!)?!!?

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking on the disboards for years now, but have never registered. I registered today, so I could post to you all. I graduated from college 30 years ago (no old jokes!) and my college roomie and I are going on this cruise as a reunion. We are bringing no husbands or family. We both teach school. I teach in Indiana and she teaches in DC area. We are flying down the day of our cruise EARLY in the morning. We want to meet all of you, so we can go to the beach at Majahaul in Costa Maya. We will safer going with all of you, instead of 2 gals on our own. We have the Fury Catamaran excursion booked for Cozumel. We will be looking for you on deck 10, port side, wearing lime green at 4:30pm. I can't wait to come and especially to meet all of you face to face.

My wife has 5 days left with students and then 2 days without. I cannot wait until it is over because she has been worn out trying to work on grades. Her seniors finished last week and thank goodness. They drive her crazy the last few weeks.

We are booked to parasail on the 2nd stop atb CC, but our times is 1:30. It will be me, my 9 yr old DS and my sister. That is unless 1 of them chickens out.


I have 2 more buisness trips before the cruise. I will be in your town Lorie on June 7-9 at a meeting and then in Orlando to review an office.June 14-16. I tried to get them to felay until the next week so that i could just go down early for vacation but could not do. So I will need a vacation after all my travels.

I think I asked this...my DH does not dress up. In 7 years I have only seen him in a tie twice So, we will not be renting a tux for him. One of the gals @ work said her friends just returned from a 7 nt Disney cruise and said that the dining rooms have gone very casual and they felt overdressed most nights . Not trying to - I promise. I think your DH will be fine and should wear whatever he feels comfortable in, be it a tux, suit, or shirt/tie. Charla

We were on a 4 night DC last year, and we saw people wearing everything from Jeans with polo shirts to tuxes. We wore jeans to pirate night, khakis on other nights, and a suit on semi formal night. I was not uncomfortable any nights, and no one really looked out of place to me except a few who had jeans on the semi formal night. I am not wearing a tux, but a dark suit on formal night, and we have nice outfits for the boys on those nights.

Boy are we getting close to sailing. Hope I can find time to pack. Have given up on door magnets because I just don't have the time.

Can't wait to set foot on CC!!!!!

Tinky-look at your countdown clock. 24 days to go!!!! Will in 4 hours and 45 min. it will be the actual month that we are sailing in!!!

Jeff, what are you in town for? Anything special or just basic work? We'll be just wrapping things up next week.

I'm also doing some magnets-you'll all have to wait and see!!! I'm not telling though!!! I've spent wayyyyyy tooooo much time at the craft store and I keep coming up with ideas. I bought a laminator. Do you know how much fun this is????

Magnets?!!? Help!!!! How do I make them????

Well, one way is to print something out and get the sticky back magnets.

I'm doing a few kinds, actually I have a small one for everyone.

I'm also using photos from a previous trip, putting names, dates and double dip cruise on the picture in "photo shop". Then after it is printed, I'm going to laminate it and put a magnet on the back.

Another one I've done is to do the above, but put it in a photo magnet pocket.
