Yep, the party is at 4:30 on the port side (so we can see the CM on shore waving goodbye!!) Look for Jillpie and I wearing our lovely green shades!!! You won't miss us!!!

Charla-Did you find your dress??? And did you get your cover up yet? Is it ok?

I went shopping, my favorite Kohl's let me down today, I walked out with NOTHING!!!!

However, I found a great dress at JC Penney's. They have tons of black dresses. Today they were 50% off!!!!

I also started getting all the memo boards that people asked for together today. There will be a few surprises!!!! My ds thinks I've lost it!!!

More work to do!!!

I know the first night the teen activities try to get everyone to meet and interact. I think meeting someone from the Dis group would help a lot so you don't have to walk in there alone the first time til you meet people. All the teens we've ever had with us LOVED the cruise.

Did you guys see that the current scheduled launch of the Space Shuttle is July 1, in the afternoon? It's likely that there will be delays, but I hope not.

Lorie - I did get my cover up, it was perfect. I actually got to use it today. The dress thing actually worked itself out. I have a black dress that I love, I just haven't been able to wear it post baby. I've done well on my diet and on a whim decided to try it on & problem solved!

I still have some more shopping to do though

Did you guys see that the current scheduled launch of the Space Shuttle is July 1, in the afternoon? It's likely that there will be delays, but I hope not.

I did see that. But the launch isn't till almost 4:00 that afternoon. We'll be long gone from the ship. Hopefully the traffic won't be backed up on that main highway though. The rumor is also that it won't even take place. There is a big window of tentative dates for it to launch.

Vija-Well I hope that your student teaching goes well! There is light at the end of the tunnel and it's about to get brighter. It's not 6 weeks, it's only 5 weeks until we double dip!!!!

OMG!!!!!!! I just realized it is 5 WEEKS!!!! I have nothing done, and my DDD is completely stalled. UGHHH. Well, we will be cruising sooner, that is great news!

Student teaching is going really well. I love it! Except for the late nights... Note that it is almost 2 am! Now, I just have to get that teaching job for next year! Any pixie dust my way? I would appreciate it!

OMG!!!!!!! I just realized it is 5 WEEKS!!!! I have nothing done, and my DDD is completely stalled.

It will be ok! We are leaving a month from today - I am thrilled and already nervous! I put up a table in my spare room to lay out all of our cruise stuff. I have got so much left to do though. I'm sure you are not alone!

4 days!!!!
I am trying to clean up my classroom. Meanwhile, my house has piles all over it of stuff I am getting ready for the cruise and the parks! We are getting soooo close!
Tonight I printed out door signs for Welcome Aboard, CC, Sea Days, and Costa Maya. I forgot to send myself the Cozumel one from my work computer ( easier to use!) I am getting excited!

Time is flying by! I finally made some reservations for WDW the week before the cruise.

We are reserving the following:
The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom
House of Blues at Downtown Disney
Cirque du Soleil at Downtown Disney
Prime Time at MGM
Hollywood Brown Derby at MGM
Rose and Crown Pub at Epcot

I like to get some reservations, then change them if our plans change. Did I miss any special restaurants?

Do you do the water parks when at WDW for a week? I just don't see how we can fit in Magic Kingdom, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Downtown Disney, and then add on water parks.

Time sure is flying by. I haven't even had a chance to check the boards for a couple of days. We are opening our own medical practice in August and the list of things to do is endless. Today I bought a new laptop to put Quickbooks on. I'm using the new laptop right now. It's really nice and has a larger keyboard than my old one. Much easier to type with.

I too have a lot of shopping to do. I'm still looking for another dressy outfit. I did find a great pair of sandals at DSW today. I could get lost in that store! I need to buy some more shorts and also want to get some more things for DDs and DH. Based on what Lori said, I'm going to check out Penneys.

Oh well, gotta get back to my Quickbooks tutorial. Have a great night!

Do you do the water parks when at WDW for a week? I just don't see how we can fit in Magic Kingdom, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Downtown Disney, and then add on water parks.

We had hoppers and did a park in the morning, when it started getting hot we went to the water parks and then back to a park in the evening. It worked out great for us!

I booked all with Disney even my Flight stuff. Should I see times on the reservations soon? Does anyone know?

Marie, as Charla mentioned you can get the hoppers, but there are 2 kinds. you can get hoppers with and without the water parks.

I splurged and got both the Park Hopper and the water option. Since DD and DS want to go to DisneyQuest and at least one water park, that is more economical. We have six packed days planned!

Is any one a DVC member? Have you purchased groceries in advance to be delivered to your room? We are trying to see how that works. I will check out the main board to see what I can find.

It is really nice with the hoppers since you can go to a number of parks on any given day. If a park seemed crowded, off we went to another.

I just did a little checking on the 6-17-06 cruise to see if they were getting there's and so far no. It sounds like they are suppose to get them around the 27th. We're next!!!

Hi Guys,
I just purchased our tickets for viewing. I went on yesterday and was bummed to see that lunch with an astronaut was sold out. I couldn't understand why. But today I went back on and searched the site and fournd out that they opened up the launch viewing on monday the 22nd so everyone probably was on the computer reserving their spots, and I like a dummy procrastinated and didn't get the lunch. UGHHHHH! Well, seems like NASA is going ahead with getting ready for it to launch on that day. They have 3 "dining with an astronaut" that day (usually they only have lunch) now they have breakfast, brunch, and lunch. We were already planning on doing KSC that day, and how awesome would it be to see the lift off! It would be a great way to end our vacation.
