Jillpie -- you mentioned your son(s) may come along -- my ds is 13, I'm concerned about him on the cruise because he is rather quiet in crowds. But he loves sports and we are planning to stay busy on the cruise -- so I'm sure he will love it. But it would be great if he had another guy to hang with on the beach -- know what I mean?!

Just let us know where the meeting place is and we are up for a party in CM!

Wow did the board get hopping while I was asleep!!!

I think Maj Beach is going to be a great "diser excursion".

I'm not sure if we could get a few tables for a brunch type deal or not. I'm sure I'll be calling DCL for something and I'll ask if that is a possiblity. Maybe we could even grab trays from the buffet and meet somewhere less crowded than the dining areas. Perhaps the Promenade Lounge.....very convenient for a mimosa , well it would be early and orange juice is healthy for you.

It sounds like the teen group of boys will be a good size. Do you think that will be too much testosterone in one group-well that is teen testosterone!!! If I know teen boys 13-16, it's more like who can be the grossest or the goofiest!!!

Well, I'm going to go look at the pictures and try to find a meeting spot at Maj. Beach. What would really help is if everyone got lime green bathing suits!!!

Ok, I'm having a bit of difficulty figuring out what is where on the Maj. but here goes. I've used pics to help!!!

1st-go past the long line for shuttles out to the circular drive just past the gates to get taxis.

You might go in a taxi or a bus. Do not get off at Tequila Beach, stay on and go to Maj. Beach. If you get off at TB, it is a few more min. down the road.

As I mentioned, I've been told there is good food at the place with green lounge chairs. $15 platter which included lobster chunks.

The trouble I am having is locating where the jet ski/massage/kayak area is in regards to this place with the green chairs.

I've got the perfect meet place for them-let's plan some time at the arcade!!!! Although I'm not sure if those boys will want to play video games.

The only thing is that Sun is the 1st stop at CC. Personally, I'm heading to the hammocks ASAP!!!! Maybe we could do a meet on CC? I know I have mentioned this previously, but I think some of us are planning on ressies for the teen wild side for the 2nd stop.

Maybe we could do a dis meet for lunch at CC? I am hoping to meet up with some disers earlier if possible at WDW or on Sat. I better meet up with Jillpie at WDW somewhere!!!

Sounds like this is turning into a party in CM and it will be great for the boys to hang out. Glad to hear your son plays basketball -- my son likes to play too, he also likes golf, fishing and he is big into paintball -- maybe they can get some b-ball in on the ship! It would be great to get them together and BuzzLightYear's DS too!

Sounds like Lorie is trying to set up a meeting before CM....maybe lunch on CC will work out? It would be nice just to meet and greet before our big party in CM!

Sure, lunch at CC sounds great! I don't know if that will be too much meeting for everyone, but maybe we can make that kind of flexible and we can pick a picnic table area, and if we can just meet each other, awesome! How does that sound? Orrrrrrrrr....should we meet on the ship the first night somewhere? hmmmm, fun to think about.

Lorie, you know we have to meet in DW, thats a given . We'll have to figure that one out later!

OMG I guess I better start getting use to looking were we are going to be and what day???? Figures the first time cruiser to get all confused...sorry...How about we meet sometime after dinner somewhere on Saturday evening. For those of you who have been on the cruise, just let me know a time and place we will be there!

Hi Everybody - We're planning on going to Maj. Beach too - I don't want to pay a fortune to Disney for an excursion on CM - I just hope it's not too crowded there if there are other ships in. I'm not sure what to do at Cozumel - I think I may spring for a Disney excursion, unless I read about something better on these boards.

My ds will be turning 13 on July 9 - I figure he'll want to go directly to the "stack" since the last time we were on the ship he was too young to go there. He plays basketball, but mostly into wrestling ( & loves WWE wrestling) My daughter is 9 & kind of shy - she emails a little bit - very athletic - plays basketball & soccer.

I've been reading all of your posts and taking notes - thanks for all the great information.

This is really getting exciting now!

Maybe I better go call Costco and find out how I'm supposed to send in our final payment. The docs they sent implied they'd send me some kind of invoice, but final payment is due in just one week, and I haven't heard a thing from them.

Jillpie, Minnie7701, and FantasiaMM....I sent you all PMs to exchange email addresses for the kids.

I'm really looking forward to this cruise!!!! (Did I already say that? )

Boy now I am sorry my DD wants to do the ruins at Costa Maya. Sounds like the Diser's will be rochin' the beach! Barbara, my DD just turned 10 and is e-mailing Carole88's DD. I am sure she would love to include your DD. My DD is shy at first and then warms up. She plays soccer and swims year round.Let me know if you want to exchange e-mail addresses. Linda, I got your email, I'll let Brendan know and he will definitely contact your son. Thanks for that! I will particularly follow your Costco story, we booked with them too. But I have to make sure we get our docs well ahead of time as we'll be at Disneyworld the Monday before the cruise. I'm sure it'll work out fine.

Minnie, it'll be fun to try and figure out a place to meet. For now, its so fun to meet everyone online .

don't worry about those things, you've got alot of DCL vets here who are more than happy to help out. Just be careful, pretty soon your family will be just shaking their heads when you start to talk about "my friends on the board". My son does it everyday!!!

I hope we do get some good dis meets. Last time, I only really met up with our tablemates who we had linked dinner ressies because of this board. We had a great time getting to know each other and then meeting finally meeting at dinner. Our servers couldn't figure us out. He kept saying, "how come you know each other so well?" I met 2 other gals briefly and that was it.

I do have a lot of fun planning. What will become of me on 7-2-06???? Oh NOOOOOO!!!!!

That 1st day can be pretty hectic trying to get luggage and everything settled. However, I plan on being in the terminal as soon as they will let me. I'm not wasting anytime getting down to cruising. So if anyone wants to hang out in the parking lot at 6am with me....just kidding, I'm not crazy you know!!! Well, maybe a little, I'm not sure many "normal" people plan their vacations for 625 days!!!

Lorie, try to remember, July 2nd 2006 doesn't exist. We are on the cruise forever! lol. I can't even think beyond it. I'm really getting so excited now. It seems more real, its not so distant anymore.
