Oh goodness I wish they had Dr. Pepper on board. I don't drink coffee at all, but Dr. Pepper is my 'fix'. Seriously thinking about bringing a 12 pack on board with us .....along with a case of water.. I CANT stand the taste of Evian which is the only bottled water the ship carries. Hope you all have a great Friday and a great weekend. I have to take Jennah shopping to get all her sicence camp stuff. She leaves late next week. She has NEVER been gone for more then one night from us. She is FREAKING OUT.... but I am trying to keep a happy/brave face on for her... But inside my Mommy heart is breaking

Just checking back in. Less than 2 months before we leave. We are going to try the before the cruise stay at DL. Have promised myself will just take it easy so as not soo tired for the cruise - we'll see!!

Just a reminder - 60 day mark for special seating and ADR's is coming up pretty quick for DL - don't know if it's as big a deal as for WDW, but there are 12 of us so I'm not taking chances. Also, don't forget the 30 dy mark for Fantasmic if you want special seating.

I'm trying to find stuff for magnets too, let me know if you find anything!!

Do we have a "list" anywhere of everyone? Was just wondering about kid ages without having to go back through.

Wow so many questions where do I start. First off what is Special seating? What is ADR? and what is special about the 30 day fantasmic thing, please explain. As for a list... I dont' think we have one, but we should make one... Why don't I start another post and you all can copy and post/add to it? And last but not least is anyone doing the fish extenders? OK -

ADR - Advanced dining reservations (priority seating ) - probably only important for places like Blue Bayou. I've heard it's easier to just walk in at DL than at WDW, but if you just want to have something just in case.... 60 dy mark at DL rather than the 90 at WDW.

Priority seating - this is for parades and stuff - also can call at 60 dy mark.

Fantasmic - they have a dessert buffet with reserved seating - this can be reserved at the 30 dy mark. You can see Fantasmic without it of course!! They have a nice explanation here on the DIS if you look at the DL info.

These are all just extras - just didn't want anyone to miss out if they were interested

I'm up for fish extenders - not too many of us so should be easy.

Hey Rebecca,

It's good to know that we are stressing out together. I am often an "out-loud thinker" and I am begin to drive my husband crazy!

We were not able to get any Palo ressies but, did get all of our 1st choice excursions. We will do a short harbor cruise in Cabo (have to see Los Arcos and the meeting of the seas one more time) and then we will probably return to the ship early to enjoy it's emptiness. In Mazatlan we are doing the city highlights and Mardi Gra (my DD5 will love the Papantla Flyers). And in Puerto Vallarta we will do the Pirate Ship. I just realized that in PV we will have a Pirate theme all day as I believe this is also the day of the Pirate party. Should be fun.

I too, am returning to the classroom tomorrow. I love Spring Break, but hate when it ends.

Do you have a website you could post for the pirate cruise? We were thinking of going ziplining but I'm not sure the kids would do it. I haven't reserved it yet. DS 15 doesn't like heights and would rather not do it and DS 11 says he'll do it, but I watched the video and don't know if he will! I'd like to find out more about the pirate cruise. I think DH would have to take him, I think I'd get sick on a small boat. I went deep sea fishing once and threw up the whole time and then back to the hotel and slept til the next morning!

Thanks so much for posting the link and pictures. It isn't at all what I thought it would be. I think my kids are too old for that kind of pirate show althought they really would have enjoyed it when they were little. The beach looks pretty, but that's not what we're looking for. I didn't know it was an all day adventure like that. I think I'm going to stick with the ziplining. I'm thinking if DS gets too scared to do it, DH and I can just alternate waiting at the end with him and each take a turn.

Hi Michelle,

Looks like you already got the link for the Pirate Cruise. Your zip line adventure sounds good. we'd probably do it if my DD wasn't so young. You never know, your kids just might get caught up in the moment and go for it on the zip line. I am also afraid of heights and was persuaded to "take the leap" off of a big tree on a zip line...I just imagined I was Tink! It was a blast and a real confidence booster. I hope you all enjoy it.

We have actually done this exact sailing 4 other times, 3 of them in June... It is typically chilly at sea and very chilly at night, but in Mexico during the day it is down right HOT and very very humid. Can you say uuugggg Hope this helps and have a great Monday!!! Big

Just as Rebecca said, I was caught off guard about how chilly it was at night, the first night out to sea, and then the last 2 nights on the way back. We sailed in early June the last time also.
After we got away from California and headed further south, I didn't find the nights chilly any more.
The days were hot, but not unbearable. The water was cold when we first jumped in, but after a couple of minutes it wasn't so bad.
Even the day in Mazatlan, where we didn't get in the water, I wasn't dying from the heat like we do in the Caribbean.
