We did have THE MOST wonderful and relaxing time in Turks & Caicos. It honestly was like being in paradise.


If Disney will let us book at the one year mark, we can officially make our post cruise hotel ressies tomorrow!!!

Welcome home!! Glad you had a wonderful vacation! I saw the pictures of "Bo" on the other thread - he's such a cutie!!!

I know WDW is doing a major change to their reservation system (changing their rate structure to a per night rate, rather than per "season") and the 2008 rates are supposed to be released June 23rd. DLR's reservation system can't be nearly as complicated as WDW's (right?), so I'd hope they'd be able to open their 2008 bookings around the same time? Did they give you any time frame? Are you booking @ GC? Did you decide on which "view"?

Well, this is a sad day for me. We've officially canceled our cruise. Too much "stuff" going on with my son's wedding, plus my parents' health (all of a sudden I'm an only child - 2 brothers and 1 sister who can't be bothered helping out).

I'm still hoping we'll be able to fly out for the DLR portion of the trip. We're going to plan on it anyway!

I hope so too! We're going to book a room @ either GC or DLH for 6/15-19 as soon as 2008 dates can be booked. The "kids" will be on their honeymoon by then!! (and I don't feel too guilty being away from my parents for 4 or 5 days at a time!!)

Just checking back in. I said hi a looooong time ago and now that our wonderful MED cruise is over, it's time to meet a new group of Dissers

I think I met WVMD briefly - I'm sure he will be here soon!!

Our group will be - me, my mom, my niece(9) and nephew(11) and either my brother or ex-SIL. Then my cousin & her DH, her 9y/o twins, DD(3) and my aunt.

You will have so much fun on your ABD trip. We have notgone on the Southwest trip, but we did the Hawaii last year and just had a great time on the London/Paris prior to the cruise. They do a fantastic job of making it all so stress free!!

Look forward to chatting with you guys this year!

I've been trying to "sell" this cruise to people I know here in Cave Creek who are always telling me that they'd love to take their kids on a Disney cruise.... So far, it seems like there should be plenty of rooms onboard.

I've been looking at excursions already.
Since we did this cruise the last time around, I need to find something different for the family to do this time.

We have an NCL cruise coming in December, but I think for all those ports, we're just grabbing a taxi and doing "whatever"....so now I am moving on to the planning of this one, and then the following Panama Canal cruise.

I did it. I have definite plans in place for the December cruise, and have a fair idea of what the family and I will be doing for this cruise. It makes it harder when we've been there before, and knowing that I'll be going again in August. I don't want to keep doing the same things.

But the planning has begun!!

The southwest splendor tour is a Disney tour through Sedona, Grand Canyon and Moab - It is all inclusive!!!

I will post a review when I return - I have heard that it is awesome!!!!!

Once I get back I will start the cruise countdown
