Hi! Anyone thinking Disney lately???? Anyone stop thinking Disney lately? LOL

We are leaving Monday for a sort of a "last minute, spur of the moment" trip to DW.
DH found out a few weeks ago he had seven sick days that they were converting to vacation days that had to be used by June or they would be lost. So when he asked me if I had any ideas I said "uh, yea"! I've always wanted to go for Flower and Garden Festival. We were able to get a room through DVC, already had annual passes that we got last May after the cruise, and got a deal on flights. And hopefully we will be ahead of the spring break rush.
Can't wait for warmer weather and sunshine!

83 days until our Fantasy cruise. We cut the after cruse stay from a week to just one and half days. I'm running out of vacation!

We are heading to Disneyland in 3 weeks and can't wait!! We had to change our trip twice, so now I'm really ready to go.

I haven't been to DL since '80! We're looking to be out there before this May 2014 cruise (in addition to a week at Aulani). Must be fun to be so close to the park. My family moved to Tustin just after I left home (I'm the oldest) so I missed out on just driving up the road to DL. Have fun!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that we may decide to "abandon ship." It's been my dream to do an Alaska cruise ever since my senior year of college when my advertising copywriting final project was a campaign for Princess Alaskan voyages. I'm very tempted by the 9-night cruise out of Vancouver that departs the same day as this one. Both cruises are currently on hold; we just have to decide which one we want to go with.

This can't do.....we were all the way back on page 6 ! Hope everyone has Spring close at hand. We had beautiful weather yesterday with temperatures in the low 60's. It made being back from Key West with my sisters seem not so bad . I know that JorDan is frantically packing for her Disneyland trip this week (go JorDan, go JorDan ). Does anyone else have any Disney trips coming up soon ? Brian and I are VERY anxiously awaiting our WDW trip with Lynsey, Jason and the ADORABLE Kaitlyn in May . After that, I think it will be a dry spell until the cruise. Happy Monday to everyone !!

WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! Enjoy!!!

We drove to Florida this past weekend, and didn't get to go to Disney at all! We left St. Louis, stopped in Biloxi, MS, and then headed to Destin for a sunset beach wedding. We left St. Louis at 8:30pm on Thursday, drove straight thru, and left Destin at 3:30pm or so on Sunday. Got home at 5:30am Monday, and reported to work at 6:30am!

Too short a trip, but we did manage to get in some beach time, and get fried to a crisp.

I still cannot move past the idea that we were in Florida and have no Disney time logged as a result!

I ordered my FE this week, and lots of goodies to start making FE gifts. I can't wait for all my packages to start arriving so I can start making my projects. I'm hoping it will make October feel so much closer!

Haha!!! Sorry...just realized I posted this on my May 2014 cruise thread. I am cruising in October 2013 too. But I will still be using the FE for this cruise, and I will probably be using some of the same supplies to make FE gifts too....I'll just change them up a bit.

Seriously, I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend, and an enjoyable Easter for those that observed...

Every once in a while I get manic and count the money in our Disney piggy bank. For those that haven't seen it.....I took a white piggy bank on the last cruise and had it signed by all of the characters. I drop change in constantly, and ones and fives more occasionally. I already have $128 in there; didn't think that was half bad!


I also found a solid black chalkboard piggy bank I will take next cruise and get it signed all in metallic inks. Maybe this time I should have our Dis-friends sign it!


Can't wait until it starts feeling more real.
