05/09/2009 May 9, 2009 7-Night Eastern St Maarten... Watch Out!

We got an upgrade too! We were Cat 9 (#2070) but are now Cat 6 (#5642). If it's okay with everyone, I'll give it a few days before I update the site to give everyone a chance to check their cabin assignments so I can make one major overhaul to it. Actually, it probably won't be until Monday as we have family coming up for Easter.

We're excited as this will be the first time we've had a verandah on a Mickey boat. We checked our new room out and it's in a great spot for us. It's very close to the Oceaneer's Club so we can easily drop off and pick up DD for activities she would enjoy.

My wife just showed me a neat cabin review section on the DIS' main site where you can see reviews of your cabin: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomlist.cfm

I may not be posting again until Monday so I want to wish everyone a happy Easter! :grouphug:

Just checked our booking on the website, mainly out of curiosity after reading the last few days posts, and find our stateroom is now 6148!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were in a requested Cat 9 room 2550 before!

Can't believe my eyes!! Please someone tell me this won't be a mistake :worship: I wasnt expecting this

Have stared at it for half an hour and it definitely says 6148.

Congrats to everyone who's had a visit from the bumping fairy!

Happy Easter to you as well, Steve! Thanks for all your efforts to make this a special cruise for us all!

I may need to raffle off my SPH rooms, as I was looking at the maps and came to realize I am going to have a LONG walk to the drink station to get my cup of milk! I guess it will help me to exercise all the chicken fingers I will be eating away!:scared:

OK this is soooo not FAIR!!! I have been looking at the DCL site for 2 weeks not wishing for some:wizard: and NOTHING!!!! Don't get me wrong I ma happy with what I booked and even more happy just being on that ship but man a window would have been nice. Oh well maybe next time....

Ok I have a ? about all these upgrades. Don't get me wrong I'm THRILLED just to be on the ship:cool1: but this is our 3rd cruise on the Magic and perviously we have been in a cat 4 room. We booked with DVC so I don't know if that makes a difference, but I wondering how this all works:confused3 anyone know???? Now we also had to book 3 rooms, so that might make it harder to upgrade? Totally confused, not that it takes much:)

I hear you all about finding a family photo. The one I used is the only one I have from the past 3 1/2 years :sad2: So please don't look closely!! I told my older kids we had to do at least one photo (before dinner) together. My older kids have such a great time on the ship and have made some really good friends:hug: that I hardly ever see them. The same can not be said for my 5 yr old, I love him dearly but I told him he has to go to his class a few times ( hoping for a little Disney Magic to get him to stay) My oldest is a little bummed that there are no other kids his age (from our group), I'm hoping he'll meet some NICE kids on board. This is his first time going to the stacks, He's thrilled I'm scared :scared::scared::scared:

whoo hoo! 30 days :yay:

boo hoo! trying on bathing suits now :sad1::scared1:

I hear ya! I tried my on the other day:scared: All I know is I can't lose enough in 29 days to ever make it look good:rotfl: I have only been in the pool one time in 3 weeks on that boat. That's the one thing I want to do more of this time. again if disney can get my youngest to stay with his group I might just get my wish:cheer2:

Is it just us or do others have a hard time keeping their little ones (3-5) in their club??? Josh is a pretty easy going kid but he says he gets bored (and hot??) I'm looked at some old navigators and saw that the 5 yr olds get to go and do a few more things, like make flubber and cookies. I'm hoping that will help. He's so use to hanging out with older siblings that he would rather be with them. but he can't unless I'm there...which totally defeats the purpose. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking him to stay there all day, but an hour or two  Honestly, (which this is sad and a little embarrassing :rolleyes1) but if I could put him if front of a video game in ocean quest he would be there until I came back to get him!
