We have finally decided that my grandmother is going to fly into MCO the night before the cruise as well! We just thought that it would be so much less stressful for her! I was able to get a room at all star music for really cheap with our annual pass discount. We will drive up and stay with her that night! Our little Toy Rat Terrier will be enjoying a nice vacation at the Best Friends kennel on property! She stays there all the time and they know her by name and they love her! I was hoping a friend would keep her, but they all have plans that week too! Oh well she will get a Disney vacation of her own! My grandmother still wants to keep waiting to buy her plane tickets! Is it bad that makes me nervous! I am all about having it all planned ahead! Oh well hopefully she will get hers soon! I guess since we live so close I have to stress about someone elses tickets!

Same way here when it comes to planning for trips!
I totally try to get as much of it done as early as possible. My MIL kept waiting and waiting to buy her ticket for this trip (even when the airfare went down) so I finally just booked it to get it out of the way.
Maybe they have a DIS clinic for this type of disorder in Orlando we can visit with padded walls??

You all sound like me!!! My DH asked me the other night if I was married to my computer. I note books, spreadsheets, shoe boxes all filled with stuff for this trip! I'm on this computer any free min. that I get trying to soak up all the info . I also stress over everything! I need a padded room here in MI!!!

The weather is getting nice outside and makes me think - ooooh - the cruise is coming. I got a new swimsuit (hate that procedure) the other day. Got my husband, Cal, a Disney Cruise Line Hawaiian shirt off of ebay.

I am working on my FE gifts. I hope everyone will like them. I know one thing - I am gonna have to do a lot of work on them during Spring Break (I work at a school.)

Oops sorry for the double post! The iPhone gets stuck sometimes and does that! Yeah agree with the need for a Disney planners support group! When my husband is gone all I do is sit on the computer and plan stuff! I am so ready for this trip! I work @ a college in financial aid and it has been so busy! I need a week to do nothing. It will be so wonderful!

Scottie - Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on The Ron Jon Resort. I looked into today and we booked the 2 bdrm deluxe suite (that fits us all). The kids are excited for the pool and games room. Only 48 MORE DAYS!!

Glad to hear you are quickly wrapping up your plans!

I forgot, they have a putt-putt course there too that we enjoyed after the sun went down. I recall Meghan almost swinging the club into Sunny's Moms glasses all too well on more then one occasion that night!

Not sure what time you are rolling in there on Friday, but hopefully most of the activites will still be open for you to enjoy for the day. Something made me think when we stayed there a few years back the slide closed around dinner time. Not sure how it is these days though.

Great price! We managed to pick up yet another credit today with SW, as our fare for the flight down dropped to 75 per person.... sure wish I could have landed 59, but I am happy none the less!

...I could be persuaded...oh, yes, I could be persuaded! Depends on so many variables (such as level of exhaustion, wife's patience with me coming home smelling like cigars, etc.) but I could definitely be up for it!

Thanks for the offer! I do not smoke, however, I do enjoy the smell of a good cigar and some time away on vacation. So if it would be ok, I would love to tag along and grab a coffee drink from the cafe and chill with the gang-however big or small we may be.

So maybe breaking your foot was a blessing in disguise?? Congrats on quitting and I hope you are healing up nicely!

Your welcome, I know my kids (and us adults) enjoyed our stay there. We arrived at the hotel around lunch time on a Saturday and kept busy well into the evening!
Just an FYI- they had one restrauant when we stayed on property and it wasnt the best. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt a bad dinner but nothing we raved about for the price. That may have changed over the years? If you guys are looking for a relaxing place for the family for dinner, we alway enjoy sitting down for pizza at Kelseys. It is near the hotels and I think you will have a car.
Hopefully you all will be able to handle each other in one room for the day!

Scott - We got back into town earlier and I found the bracelets in the mail. They look great. Thanks again. You are awesome! My 3yo DD loves them too. I'm glad I ordered two extra because she has been playing with them. I'd be shocked if she doesn't lose one under the fridge or behind the couch before we leave. I had to try on one and wore it for a while today. It will probably be the only thing I own that will still fit me after the cruise!

By the way, I was a little misleading with my DD's 7pm bedtime. That's the time we put her down. She usually gives in and accepts defeat by 8 or 8:30. It's like, come on kid, we're missing Survivor. Have a heart. Sheesh.

Allison - We've never stayed near the port but we have rented cars through Budget twice and had great experiences with them. Both times we rented it at MCO and returned it in Port Canaveral. They are very close to the terminal and have frequent free shuttles that take you back and forth to rent or return your car.

I'm glad you found a room. It sounds nice and I hope it works out great for your family!

Jeremy - I updated the site with your info and photo. That's a great picture! I can't lie to you though, I was really hoping to see you sporting the Elvis impersonator look. Or at the very least having the flamboyant flowing magician's hair. You just look like one of the guys. You're killing my image of Vegas residents, bro.

I worked on the map today while the DIS was down. I included both FE and non-FE cabins so you can see who all of your neighbors are. I made FE red and non-FE yellow to make them both very visible. It might look big on your screen but it should print out fine.

The link to the map is at the top of the main page. I recommend printing the roster and map and taking both with you to the ship. I'll be updating the map as the guarantee cabins get assigned so be sure to keep me posted when you learn your cabin assignments.

If anyone still wants me to email the map to them, let me know otherwise I'll just assume anyone who wants one will print it from the site.

Steve, your DISBoards site is terrific. Thanks for doing that, man! And thanks for the props on the family pic...I try not to bring down the quality of the image with my presence...and that's just with my normal looks. If I tried to do Elvis, it might get just a touch over-the-top even for me.
On a related note - your daughter is adorable! Can't wait to introduce her to Sarah!

Thank you, Kristen! I like her a lot too! You should see her smile...melts your trouble away, I tell ya.
She's MASSIVE, but boy is she fun to cuddle.
How massive you ask? Well the doctor was explaining where she was on the weight chart for her age but the chart wouldn't come out of the corner it was whimpering in!
But she's the happiest child I've ever been around (mainly because she doesn't know what she's getting into yet) and she seems to be "evening out" a bit. Hopefully she'll start to stretch a bit more quickly...as it is she is wearing some 2T already and she's only 10 1/2 months!

I love your family pic too. Your kids are clearly happy children...so underrated these days.
But your little boys info isn't on the list...how old is he?
